Number9
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000488780/article/concern-exists-on-gregory-handling-pro-footballs-mental-rigors I already stated I would not take him with the #33. Now, teams are listing him undraftable.
Bongo59
He is Demetrius Underwood 2.
TeamRamrod
Off field issues aside, still my 2nd best prospect in this class
Starkiller
Not long ago, some people wanted him at #2 overall...
Alcibiades
I think he still goes no later than the third round. He's just too talented to go undrafted. Some team will take a chance on him. If I'm the Titans, I'd still draft him with our 4th, for sure. Maybe our 3rd. Yes, he could go down in flames, but he also has a ton of upside. He's a very natural pass rusher. In pure pass rush ability, he's probably top of the class, though I actually like Beasley as my top and have for months. You can see us discussing this topic back in January or February in the draft forum. Anyway, I obviously wouldn't take him at 2nd overall, or even 33rd. But after that? IDK.....he's crazy talented. Starkiller
Someone will take him in the 2nd round I'd guess
Alcibiades
Yeah, I think that's likely. But no later than the third, IMO. I said I'd take him with our 4th because if he DID somehow slip that far, he'd just be incredible value at that point. The upside would outweigh the risk, IMO. Face
The article about him yesterday was so vague. What's the deal with him, does he have a legit mental illness or something?
ChesterCopperpot1
Same with La'el Collins.
Mythos27
God, if Gregory by some miracle is available in the third I think I'll pass out from excitement. I get all the concerns about weight and weed use but I still think he's the best over all edge rusher in the draft with the most upside. Beasley is the best pure rusher, Fowler may be the safest, but give me Gregory.
TitansFaninAZ
Would this turd even be dependable come sundays?
Alcibiades
Nobody knows, which is why he is falling. But what I do know is that Lawrence Taylor was a sackmaster while using drugs. I'm not saying that could happen in today's NFL. For a variety of reasons, it's unlikely. But smoking weed doesn't negate his talent. The trick will be whether he will stop, so that he doesn't get busted for it. I don't know the answer to that, but I know I'd be willing to take the chance in rounds 3 or 4. IsntLifeFunny
I've always found it a cruel joke that pot stays in your system for such a long time but other drugs clear out quickly. There isn't a drug in the world less dangerous than MJ. The fact these guys keep using it, jeopardizing millions is the worrisome part.
Alcibiades
I wouldn't go so far as to say there isn't a drug in the world less dangerous. Caffeine comes to mind. If you mean a controlled drug, then lots of medications come to mind. But I get your overall point. I don't agree with the laws or the rules against MJ. But they are there, and while we can work to change them, in the meantime, these players have to obey them. So yeah, you are right that the worrying part is that some players can't seem to control it. BTW, that counters the common claim that MJ is not addictive. If it weren't addictive at all (at least mentally), then players should be able to stop using it in order to make those millions.
