luvyablue256
No different as the Manziel camp trademarking "Money Manziel." It means nothing. They do this so other people can't make money off their names.

luvyablue256
Can you see Andrew Luck doing something like this? If he was popular enough for people to mass market products with his name/likeness, yes. Andrew Luck is football popular, which means non-football people could careless about selling bootleg materials featuring his persona. This has very little to do with football success and everything to do with personal branding. They're totally different, but self righteous white guys hate Jameis Winston, so I get it. You think Russell Wilson would pull this crap? He's black.... And Johnny Manziel is white. So I'm not sure what this has to do with black/white. So I'm not sure what this has to do with black/white. Once again...Russell Wilson's popularity is only in football circles. Did you make a thread on Manziel trademarking his phrase? Or is it just Winston that pisses you off enough to make a thread on this first thing in the morning? Where does that energy come from?
IrishTitansFan
This affects his footballing ability!

Or is it just Winston that pisses you off enough to make a thread on this first thing in the morning? Where does that energy come from? I ripped Manziel to shreds last year, saying that I thought he'd be a bust and that I had no interest in drafting him. I was very outspoken about Matt Leinart, who was similar in that he seemed more interested in off the field stuff than on the field stuff. I made the thread because it was a headline on ESPN and no one had made a thread about the subject yet. I knew eventually someone would start one. Number9
The kid's nickname name has a lot of potential value. You see Peyton Manning making money off all those Papa John's ads. Peyton has the "parmesan you taste so good." He would be stupid not to do this, especially since someone had already done this to him before. If somebody made a lot of money of his nickname and he did't do this, people would be saying how stupid he was.

Number9
This was before the nano second instant fame of high speed internet. I saw an segment about one of those new apps that showed they had 265,000 people at a site at the same time. It wasn't the SB or a famous story, just something that blew up almost instantly. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2816559
bondra316v2
If anything I think this shows that Famous Jameis is getting sound legal advice from his support team. It already puts him ahead of Mr. can't tell me nuthin.
