code
Just saw Prisco and Kirwan's top 100 NFL players. Zero Titans. Zero. The team has been aggressive in free agency. Selecting middling players. The team has drafted towards the middle of the pack since Ruston arrived. Not a top 100 player selected. In his defense, I suspect that we have some guys who can crack that barrier this year, and that improved coaching should be a factor as well. But two respected analysts would seem to argue that the grocery shopping has not improved since Fisher was deposed ... while the Rams roster is now stocked with top 100 players on the defensive side of the ball. Just interesting how loudly everyone complained about American's sexiest coach/gm while Webster has taken virtually no heat since taking over the position from Reinfeldt who clearly didn't get it done on the personnel evaluation side. Tim
Reinfeldt era was really the Fisher era. Reinfeldt was a GM in name only.
TeamRamrod
We all know we had players that actually belonged in the top 100. Levitre, Casey, and Wright all could have made it imo.
AFCman
Bud Adams is gone. THAT is a major factor. We are still trying to get over the VY, CJ, Britt, and Munch era too. We finally have a legit NFL coach and staff.......but are still in need of a QB. While I don't expect more than 6 wins this season, at least I have hope for the future. CMJ
Tim is correct. Jeff picked some real doozies during the "Reinfeldt" era
Tex in a Can
You really have to look at the players we drafted and those left on the board, the performance of those we let go vs those signed. But in the end, crap job so far. Tex
OILERMAN
Casey and Roos are def top 100 players and the retarded players vote on they list Having said that Webster has sucked
Face
Casey and Roos are def top 100 players and the retarded players vote on they list Having said that Webster has sucked There's no doubt Casey is a top 100 player, and he's probably a top 40-50 player. I didn't look at this list but it can't possibly be worse than the NFLN top 100, which still has guys like Polamalu in the top 60. But the FO has been bad, there's no question. At first I really liked what Webster was doing but I've really become disenchanted, chiefly due to not addressing the pass rush.

Well, you know, we had one good year that landed us in the SB. But for the most part, the Fisher era was basically a washout. So it really should come as no surprise. We are the Cubbies of both football and hockey. It is basically an expression of the ultra conservative mindset that refuses to pay for anything. As long as the owners have money and make money on the less monied, that is just fine with them. To find an owner(s) who want to win and allow the GMs to go get those players and coaches that can make it happen would be a miracle.

Face
Makes you long for the days of Reese. I sure do. Reese had plenty of faults of his own but he knew how to put a deal together. But looking back I don't know how much of that good time was due to Reese or just a good stretch where we caught some breaks & had a great QB. IsntLifeFunny
These lists are a joke. Casey is a top three DT. Roos is a top 7 LT. Griffin was a top 7 FS last year. Webster has drafted some good talent. We have no idea what our team will look like with a competent coaching staff.
Guest
I like Casey a lot but he's not a top 3 DT.
