Number9
I think they should take Teddy Bridgewater @11, if he's not there BPA. I think they probably will take one in the second, but by the time they select it won't be a good enough player. The team needs a franchise QB. SuperFreak90
I also want Aaron Donald, but If Whiz wants his guy at QB. Bortles, Manziel, Bridgewater, or Mettenberger I would be ok with them. I think Carr could be a option too. Really big arm
Oiler FANatic
I think they should take Teddy Bridgewater @11, if he's not there BPA. He will be there and won't be the BPA by far. We don't want to end up like the Chargers who gave up on Brees and then ended up with Rivers, do we? VY was given 5 years by this team, surely Locker deserves at least 4 years with the Titans before everyone writes him off.

luvyablue256
I still don't understand how McCarron isn't held in higher regard...around here or nationally. If this were a USC/Notre Dame QB with the same results, he'd be sucked dry by the national media.
Denali
"To be honest, I haven't really thought about it that way. I am excited about the little bit of time I have spent with Jake. He exhibits a lot of the qualities I like. He has been great in the meeting rooms, I like the way our exchanges have gone. So our focus is on that." Meeting rooms... Conversations... It's not as if he's talking about his play on the field. We are taking a QB in the 1st. We may even trade up.
Stranger
If this was multiple choice, I'd say somewhere between 2-4, but since it isn't, I'll go with the 3rd. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that the Titans trade down and pick up an extra 3rd some where and take their QB then.

Why would we trade up given that we're short a pick as it is? Who's worth that much of a risk?

Denali
Why would we trade up given that we're short a pick as it is? Who's worth that much of a risk? I don't see it as risky to trade up to select a QB that is intended to hopefully become your franchise QB. It's too important. As for who is worth trading up for, at this point I personally can't think of anyone. At one time I had thought Bilgewater, but I am cooling off to him now. But if Wiz and the gang have their sights set on someone, I wouldn't put it past them to pull the trigger and trade up if necessary.
NashvilleNinja
I just don't see the team taking a QB in the first round. I agree with Peyton Manning on this. If you're a QB that gets drafted in the first round, especially as high as we're drafting, then you need to be starting from day 1. Unless the Titans are just lying about Jake being the starter in 2014 they won't waste that pick on someone who's going to be on the bench behind Locker. You don't spend the 11th pick on depth. You spend it on an immediate-impact player.
