Lions shopping for a WR

A comp pick wouldn't come due until 2015.

Britt is worth a 6th at best, more likely a 7th.

As long as his attitude isn't disruptive, I'd keep him.  One game winning play out of him is worth more at this point than a late pick.  I'd just sit him down and tell him face to face that he hasn't played well, he's hurt the team and that he's going to get limited snaps but he can earn more if he turns it around.  Let's not forget that he still has a big, big incentive to play well.  Again, assuming his attitude isn't disruptive.  If it is....out the door immediately.

Britt has had a terrible start to the season, but let's not act like the guy is a total scrub. He's been a starter this year for a reason. He's had spotty effort and bad penalties recently, but he's been a phenomenal blocker during his career, and that's a key to CJ breaking those huge runs. He looked good during the preseason and caught the ball well.

I could go either way on this and Britt's stock is at an all-time low, but he's still a skilled player. Say we just cut back on his snaps -- if we're really a playoff team, Britt could have a lot of value this season. And unlike the Hunter TD, Britt's endzone jump ball was poorly thrown. Britt was trying to pull off a Nate Washington/Detroit catch. Locker has also almost gotten him killed this year with all his overthrows.

As it's been said, he could contribute this year. The first play from scrimmage was a play to him, yes he dropped it but it was to him.

The Titans haven't "gone away from him" on the field and have tried to get him the ball. If anything after the last 10 days maybe he eats so crow and gets his head out of his ass.

The Titans know if they get the ball to him, good things can happen.

Have the Titans discussed trading him? Probably. But unless they get what they want there is no reason they have to move him. If the team is set for a playoff run and they believe that, they won't trade him unless they're given generous compensation.

Dude it's been four years! How long do you wait and hope?

Right now he's not only a false hope he's a liability with every drop and penalty

Free time up for guys that produce and get rid of this guy

Obviously the guy has elite talent. His first year and the 2nd that was cut short were stellar. There is a reason he was the #1 receiver going into the year. He's started off poorly but you have to keep him and hope for a spark if you are only going to get a 6th for him. Wise up

It's simple. Does the coaching staff believe Britt can contribute to winning games right now? If the answer is no you move him for a pick because everyone knows he won't be resigned now.

No you dont. The guy has had maybe four good games in four years. He wasnt good last year. He hasnt been good this year. He kills whole drives with his penalties and drops.

Without him the offense drove 94 yrd on 7 for 10 passes - including a drop and a spike. He's a bigger liability than asset.

The real question is whether he lost more than a step with his last knee injury. I'm not certain he has the explosion or separation skills he had when we drafted him. He was open in big positions last two games. Jake missed him the first time. Kenny dropped the ball last time. That said, if he had caught either of those balls, let alone the blatant pass interference in the end zone, 3 TDS in 3 weeks would change all of our tunes.

Then again, if a Euniche had balls, CMJ would be the man (I kid, I kid).

I still want to make a play for Hester even though I know it's extremely unlikely. Field position has killed us. He'd fix that. We could then drop Reynaud which would open up a roster spot for another player, possibly another power back.
