There's no way that you actually believe that? The great collapses in World history started off by countries being ran like America? Which examples and why, and don't give me Germany pre WWII and people using wheelbarrows to buy a loaf of bread. Show me one example of current day necessities that have been so blown out of reality because of inflation. Rent, Utilities? Those prices aren't raising to amounts that cause lifestyle changes because government inflation but much more because corporate greed.

A friend of mine has just started getting into stocks and I want to pull my hair out with all the hot takes. It's been about 3 weeks and some of the snippets are paraphrased as.... "I need to get rid of these pharamceuticals, they just aren't cutting it and too stagnant" "I wonder what the big news is, Verizon is up today (it was up .4% when he said that)" "We just bought the dip on Draft kings" (As it slightly drops from it's 6 month high) "Well, looks like it's gonna be another shitty red day for the market"...... Then proceeds to let his entire psyche be affected by the down day on wall street It's fucking insane how short sighted people are with everything and seems to be making a different trade or two EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. and bails on shit because it didn't skyrocket WSB style. He of course got into Rocket Mortgage but couldn't sell in time because the t+2 rule. He bought Verizon I assume a lot because Buffett put a lot of money into it and I had to convince him to at least wait until their investor's day next week before selling. Buffet didn't put money into Verizon for a 2 week lottery ticket!

I'm more than happy to keep an eye on cryptocurrency due to the volatility and update my portfolio accordingly. Am I planning on holding Cardano for forever like you are planning on with BTC? Most likely not, but I'd hardly call planning on holding a position for a couple years "flipping shitcoins".

Show me legit numbers on many big name alt coins to convince me that I should have my money in BTC the next 2 years compared to Cardano and I might agree with that sentiment. you forgot growth potential while still having a pretty similar floor being the much more important reason to put cash into Cardano

I’d rather throw 10k into alt coins without question as long as people are talking about it and it’s being traded at a high volume Ive already said I’ve bought into Cardano because it’s cheap and has so much room to grow. I don’t see anywhere near the same potential in BTC for exponential growth of that level. It’s a no brainer if it’s very possible to keep up with BTC anyway.
