What are we arguing about these days? Seems this year's iteration is the most exciting for a long time. Also, hi Titans central peeps! -
HBO has said this series will go 7 seasons. There is supposed to be 7 books, but book 3 is 2 seasons, so they will be cutting out a lot of material. I full expect the HBO series to end before the fat bastard gets anywhere near finishing the series. He may even die before he finishes it.

The next two seasons should be pretty amazing since Storm of swords is the best book in the series. The 4th book is a complete snore-fest and the 5th book finishes about 300 pages too early with about 700 cliff-hangers. But don't worry, Martin promises he'll have the next book out in less than 5 years .....
