  1. I can’t remember if it was Buck or McShay.
  2. On the surface, #46 can seem like a steal of a pick. My concern with Burden is his girlfriend is his manager. Then purportedly, he’s not the most engaged guy in the practices leading up to game day. If we trade down that far and either is there at WR, I would want either Higgins or Noel. If Ward is the pick and he’s really a “seriously demands the best” type of QB, then the draft picks that support him directly especially should be vetted to have similarly high work ethics. Like, no screwing around at receivers. If you can’t at least fool us before the draft, then un-unh, IMO.
  3. Having scouted Cam, surely the Titans have also well-scouted Kyle Williams. I can’t see how he’s not a possibility unless the two players just absolutely hate each other. I’m not heavily investing in their chances to draft him, though. Odds of Williams reaching day 3 are narrowing.
  4. McShay was saying the same thing about him, plus being a diva, the girlfriend, the family….
  5. TE and where it fits into all of this is weird. Not sure any of the top ones including Terrance Ferguson last until day 3. But I do sneakily still like Oronde Gadsden II from Syracuse as a TE/WR hybrid. Otherwise draft a guy like Hawes late for his blocking prowess.
  6. Oh yeah, Simms made the comparison between Jaylin Noel and Ladd McConkey. I said about a week ago he was this draft’s Ladd McConkey. I also saw a Steve Smith comp in the video I posted, but he’s not as strong as Smith.
  7. Yeah. Add to the fact that familiarity with Cam should be a bonus modifier for us. I’m afraid that he’s going to go on day two to some team. If it seems like a pick is worth it, then I have no problem taking them above consensus, but it’s coming down to only getting one premium shot at WR (if no trade down) on day 2 if they even decide to go that way. Who do you take? My choices are unpopular. But I don’t want injury concerns, and I do want reliable hands, good route running, separation, and some actual brains for the position.
  8. I find it interesting that the WR rankings are shifting this much finally. McShay has Higgins and Noel at 5 and 6 above Burden Simms has Noel ranked top 5 (#4) and has Kyle Williams #2 behind Travis Hunter and calls him the best separator in the draft. I was hoping Williams would make it to pick 103 but he may garner enough hype that’s not possible. I love Egbuka from college but remembering how often hurt he was in college gives me some pause.
  9. Again, Jayden Higgins has 4.47 speed. AJ Brown and Treylon Burks do not, for example.
  10. Well, I think Jaylon Noel is the Ladd McConkey type receiver teams are looking for in this draft — at least the closest one on paper. I’ll also answer that Jayden Higgins ran a 4.47 at the Combine. I think he’s going to rise because of the workout, because on tape, he doesn’t look that fast, but his catch radius is huge and his hands are super reliable. I say because of also having a 1000 yard season, he probably goes in round two instead of three. I’m also not sure he was all he can be at Iowa St. I just feel he might translate better than some other players. Higgins ain’t going in round 4 by the way. And Jaylin Noel is probably going day 2 as well. I think he’s also going to translate. I’m less sure about guys like Ayomanor, Harris, Bond, even Burden to an extent, And I’m not saying either is going to be a Titan, but if they managed to say trade pick 35 for Buffalo’s 56 and 62 and got Noel and Higgins, that would give you guys who stand a good chance of being your eventual starter at slot and X. Ridiculous, but maybe they can get Higgins and later Kyle Williams.
  11. Wonder if they’ve met or will meet Dont’e Thornton Jr since he ran the 40 in 4.3 flat at 6’4” 205 and would be considered a local visit. He put up 26/616/6 in 2024 but he seems to mainly be a vertical deep threat. Might become a good gunner. Doesn’t strike me as having huge X receiver mojo. Even TeSlaa played more as a big slot like Burks did at Arkansas, even though he played out wide sometimes, too. It makes me realize there aren’t a lot of tall and fast X WRs in this draft (sub 4.5) especially without injury history. That’s why sometimes I’m like, “Damn. Might really have to draft Jayden Higgins after all.”
  12. He scored a perfect 10 on the RAS. Caught like 44 rec for over 800 yards in 2021. Athletic freak who was ground down due to injuries. He’s around 6’4” 218. Explosive X receiver who’s a late day 3 projection.
  13. Elijah Moore is an entitled schmuck. Don’t need his toxicity around here. It was once a cool idea when we had AJ Brown. Once. But no longer.
  14. Unless there’s some off the field issues, I would expect Bradyn Swinson to rise in the weeks leading up to the draft. I’ve seen people higher on him than consensus. Umanmielen will be there at 35 for sure. He’s fallen down draft boards a bit over the last few months, but just toward the bottom of the second. Haven’t seen him go in the top half of round two in a long while.
  15. Not surprised the Titans would be interested in Isaac Teslaa. He really did kill the Combine. Sub 7-second 3-cone at his size AND ran a sub-4.4 40? He’s definitely someone I would be interested in on day three. It would be ironic if he took Treylon Burks’ roster spot. They both played big slot at Arkansas.
  16. Makes taking Jayden Higgins at 35 seem reasonable by comparison. I heard from a couple of media folk that McMillan doesn’t love football nearly as much as you would like from an early first round draft pick.
  17. Tuten is the least ball secure RB in the draft. If a RB were to taken at 35, it would be Omarion Hampton, no question.
  18. Tuimoloau. My auto-correct has already learned to spell it.
