I've been clear on Tate. Like him as a WR but never in the first round. He has great hands but he isn't a one. He has gotten all his numbers against the second CB and slot CB. When he runs below expectations he becomes a bottom of one WR like Reggie Wayne or Ridley.

Ridley ran a 4.43 and picked at 26 and was elite route runner. Tate is not close to Ridley coming out. He is a round two WR.

This draft is loaded on D but it is so bad on O people are calling it a bad draft. I think when it is all said and done this draft is going to be really good for the teams that slant to the D.

Look I like Tate but only in a trade down. HE is bottom of one WR. None of these WR are elite. Good players but not elite.

I think FA can make this D good without a guy at 4 but it means we need two DE and two DT. And three CBs. That is a lot of spending.

There will be a lot of vets jobless soon so there will be a chance to fill S RB and ST holes. I'm not worried about this. The roster needs two more drafts to be ready but I do think with the defensive vets in FA and the defensive guys in this draft TN can fix that side of the ball right now.
