They met with ML as much as they could. They just got extra meetings with cutler because he was local. If ML had been local they would have met with him. Chow was under the assumption they were getting ML and told his wife he was getting fired soon once that didn't happened. Fisher would have publicly said over a decade ago who he wanted when asked if he didn't have anything to hide. it's really that simple. When you add in like... everyone in the media saying he wanted ML and the tea leaves are a billboard. -
