  1. Past hour
  2. That entirely depends on where the pick actually falls and how many out of the top QB prospects (Mendonza/Simpson/Moore) actually declare. We have seen multiple instances of teams moving up pre-draft day to position themselves for a QB (Eagles-Wentz, Jets-Darnold, 49ers-Lance)
  3. No, not in any meaningful way. I've seen people say the product on the field has been so bad that we might as well try. There's a big difference. No one thinks he's some super secret weapon we just aren't using lol.
  4. It’s almost as funny as the comparison to Rice pages ago in this thread.
  5. You haven’t seen anyone complain that he hasn’t been elevated? Really?
  6. Likely won't know whether the offer, if any, is worth it till they are on the clock.
  7. It happened once twenty years ago so obviously all those football people don’t know how to evaluate talent!
  8. Yeah it’s obvious they won’t be taking a DPR guy who doesn’t have whatever the functional strength they deem is necessary very high. I hate that I’m leaning towards taking the hypothetical draft haul because this team needs so much . I mean some positions they have to totally rebuild because they have nothing there.
  9. I haven't seen anyone complain about him not being elevated. It's a running joke more than anything. Having people come out of the woodwork to browbeat as if it's retarded to want and try out a guy with a connection to Ward is pointless besides the casual mention that it's unlikely to happen because of STs, which is a fair take. XR won't get snaps until he can either play STs (unlikely) or the team completely bottoms out under McCoy (likely). That is wholly different from people saying fuck the season let's try some shit out. That's at the least understandable with how bad the offense has been. I'm not sure why that would make people take shots at anyone.
  10. Keep in mind that Bain likely plays on the DL, not OLB. As a pet peeve, that's why I dislike the term Edge.
  11. We all know why he didn’t / hasn’t / won’t be called up.
  12. Depends what the individual team is seeking in their specific pass rusher Bain is the best all round EDGE in terms of power/run stopping and pressures but a totally different player to guys like David Bailey and Cashius Howell who are DPR's that won't be able to consistently hold up against the run.
  13. Who the f has apologized for Callahan? I was probably his biggest detractor going into the season.
  14. Maybe, YOU feel like you aren’t screaming but there is definitely a collective SCREAM in this thread that’s been going on since before training camp. The annoyance, believe me, works both ways.
  15. If he’s not getting playing time, why is he’s getting called up and wasting a roster spot on the 54?
  16. I don’t watch enough college ball to talk about them individually so my take is just generally speaking. How big of a gap is there Bain and #2 Edge? And how much are we getting for moving down a few spots (assumption)? The answer to those questions would drive my decision to stick or pick or move down.
  17. It's also funny coming from a bunch of Callahan apologists. If the offense wasn't dead last by a wide margin, and thus far entering into historically inept, do any of you think this is a conversation? Obviously not.
  18. Who has already demonstrated in NFL regular season play the ability to halt pulling guards in their tracks.
  19. Yes, we get it. No one is screaming for him to get playing time lol. The entire exercise is futile. If he doesn't get snaps then welp there you go. If he does end up getting snaps it's because the offense is a complete train wreck and you might as well try it out...which the latter point is the reason there's even a discussion. No one cares except those acting like we don't understand the ST aspects of the reasoning by the coaching. It's rather annoying.
  20. Sigh , it’s not just the ST stuff. If he were any good at practice they’d consider calling him up. There’s an athletic deficiency as well.
  21. No doubt he is a very intriguing prospect the big unknown is just how rusted on is Borgonzi with this bigger/longer/powerful stance for his starting EDGE guys.
  22. We certainly need Kinsey taking snaps at WR. For sure.
