kyle021
The Locker pick should of been a PI call, but wasn't IIRC... The fumble was all him, and also the refs missed a call on the 3rd and goal pass to williams on the opening drive. That should of been PI as well... Kamerion Wimbley had a huge game, and really showed what he can do with his hand in the dirt going after the quarterback play after play. I like what he brings to the pass rush, and if Morgan can step up we will be fine with our pass rush our defense needs to be more opportunistic though
WG53
I have to admit, you make a convincing argument. I have explained why it was wrong previously.
japan
In the context of the situation Locker had an ok game, his first start, against BB etc... But just grading him straight up he had a poor game, an INT, a fumble returned for a TD and the offense scored 13 total points. BTW, I thought the Pats had an average game, Brady and that passing game is capable of much better. I think they reeled it in and played it safe when they got a good lead. This is Oilerman cover his ass. Locker played a damn good game for a first start. Don't forget the great Locker run wiped out by Hutch holding call, which proceeded the fumble. Kid played well. He needs to learn to not go full VY on a turnover. The INT wasn't a bad play, it was a jump ball that was stupidly batted into the air by Washington. pat
didn't mind the FG, the holding on a perfect QB draw? F**K!?! Come on people, play to win!
Atticus
I thought that Munchak's challenge was a poor decision. Not that it it mattered ultimately. Pats are just a better team all the way around right now. That is the only excuse in this one. Wasn't like it was ever really close. Only hope the Titans had in this one was to create turnovers and the Pats simply do not give the ball away. It is going to be interesting to see how the team responds over the next few weeks. There were things in the game to build off of. Munchak could find himself on the hot seat real quick this season. Ding! Ding! Ding! That's the only relevant "analysis" you need to know. Anybody really upset with the outcome of this game today simply had too high expectations. Patience. It will come ... but not this year.
OILERMAN
This is Oilerman cover his ass. Locker played a damn good game for a first start. LOL, Cover my ass against what? This was not a damn good game. What RG3 did was a damn good game for a first start. Locker showed more than enough to believe he can develop into a franchise QB. No reason to go all out homer though

Most people who watched that game would say he had a good game. You were the one who started the thread by saying 'Locker did not have a good game.' OILERMAN
I'm not going all homer. Most people who watched that game would say he had a good game. You were the one who started the thread by saying 'Locker did not have a good game.' I said for the first start it was a good game, you scoffed at that and said he had a "damn good game". I'm not knocking Locker, I thought he looked way better than preseason and showed enough to be hopeful. But he made some terrible decisions, had two turnovers and led the offense to 13 points. In not way is that a damn good game
TitanJoe
Jake played well yesterday. He had guys in his face the entire afternoon and no run game to slow their dline down. Roos got raped on the Locker fumble. His effort to try to block and make a tackle on that play was embarrassing.
OILERMAN
Roos needs to pass block better in that situation but when the defense knows you can't run and you are behind so big and the DL can pass rush every single down without any regard for the run at all it's going to get ugly. Locker also doesn't get the ball as fast which means the OL have to hold their blocks longer

Guest
The biggest problem on this team is the biggest problem it's been for years (outside of QB). We have a horseshit front 7. We have a very young LB group of guys who when they mature give us a chance. MCarthy, Ayers and Brown. Please stay healthy. Years of not drafting LB and letting edge rushers walk away in FA have put us in this chronic situation. The good news is we finally have some youth with upside at LB but they will need some time. TitansWycheck89
The front 4 is the biggest concern. Wimbley shows up every 25 snaps or so. Casey and Klug were non existent and Morgan has been MIA for quite some time. Our LB can be great, but the lack of depth is concerning and I am not sure what's going on in the secondary. McCourty played well and Verner is one of the better tacklers in the league. However, I don't know whats going on with Tommie and Mouton.
Jonboy
Casey was playing hurt. Marks was out. Martin was making his first NFL start. All things to keep in mind.
Atticus
This is getting funnier by the second, or should I say by the post. So far we have collectively trashed the coach, CJ, O-line, D-line, Safeties, O-line coach, ref's, and on & on. Truth is, we're an average team who played an elite team. Predictable result. I thought we played pretty well in general. Hopefully we'll get better. Oh, before I forget it ... I thought special teams were pretty solid.
