Well for anyone who cares to read this, here are my (lengthy) thoughts now that I’ve had a chance to sleep on it.   I’ll start by saying I'm not sure I've ever been more hyped for an episode

I loved the fact that Theon won his fight cause he has no dick. Haha

Pretty easy to guess what's going to happen to Cersei and the new king.

Margerie's Grandmother is going to have a little meeting with the main priest dude and talk about Jamie and Cersei having the abomination who is now King. The priest guy said even King and Queen's have to answer.

Right. Cersei is about to get bit in the ASS by the religious fanatics IMO. You trust the crazies, you get burned.

The further they get from the book's actual storylines, the more flat and less gray the show becomes. It's fairly disappointing this year on that front. No gray and no subtlety. Show's how good GRRM is, imo. Now you've just got regular people driving the story and it's weak.

Sansa's book storyline at this point was basically nonexistent. There is good reason to change it.

As for this season, it isn't as exciting as last year, but that is not to say that it isn't important. It's clear that they have to spend time setting all sorts of new situations in motion before the real action begins. Even the first season was a lot of moving pieces around the board.

My theory is Littlefinger seeks to take the North from the winner of the Stannis - Bolton battle and then marry Sansa himself.

He basically rules the Eyrie. If Sansa becomes Wardeness of the North, he would run that as well. He has been aligned with the Tyrells, so if their alliance with the Lanisters fall apart he would likely have their support.

The Martels might not side with him but I doubt they would side with the Lanisters. The Riverlands are pretty much a mess and probably wouldn't get involved.

And Stannis might not be able to rally anyone to his side.

I wonder if Cersei can just send the troops in to shut down the religious fanatics, if they start poking into her and Tommen's personal business?

Not if they have her in a cell. You bet as soon as Marge gets out she's going HAM on that bitch, and she can be implicated not by Tommen but by her crazy fanatic cousin who banged her. She's digging her own grave it seems to me.
