As far as I know, Quantum computing, in theory, should be able to disrupt the security of the entire financial industry. Banks, exchanges, and even blockchain encryption will be compromised. I believe bitcoin foundation is working on updates to make bitcoin secure enough to withstand even quantum computing but it's still a ways off. Sure, they make cars and sell them for a profit and conveniently the people who buy those cars pay Tesla monthly for charging and a data subscription.
