I was into Rigetti RGTI long enough to make some decent cash on a trade, but haven't really researched it hard enough, or any of the other quantum companies for that matter, to go long on any of them yet. ctm

As far as I know, Quantum computing, in theory, should be able to disrupt the security of the entire financial industry. Banks, exchanges, and even blockchain encryption will be compromised. I believe bitcoin foundation is working on updates to make bitcoin secure enough to withstand even quantum computing but it's still a ways off. It's going to be an interesting turn of events to say the least... https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2025/04/05/bitcoin-developer-proposes-hard-fork-to-protect-btc-from-quantum-computing-threats I guess we can just sell everything, HODL physical gold & silver, and hide in an undisclosed hole somewhere. When the shit hits the fan, Scrooge McDuck will be laughing his ass off while swimming in his huge bank vault filled with gold coins.
