You are delusional across the board.

From your expectations of us having a miracle season like the commanders just had.  To everyone expecting us to suck since we dont expect to win 14 games.....

Toss in you act like because we have money to spend we should just use it. Guess what thats what ran did and it was a giant waste of capital. I was screaming till i was blue in the fact you dont use cap just to use it, have a realistic plan, no I was told. We have the cap why not use it? it rolls over. Spend it when you should on resigning key players to 2nd contracts. Not grandpa in the middle of a rebuild.

Glaring need is the only thing you got right in this and hate to break it to you but you cant realistically fix everyrhing in one offseason and almost every team has at least a few obvious holes this time of year.

Hell, for all we know jones plays better in our defense, Sweat makes the leap we all hope which free up jeff to have a career year and Femi comes on much fast than anticipated. Stranger things have happened.

Tldr: Just because you want something doesn't mean its a good idea, your not 4, act like it.

Delusional? Lol

Whose expecting journeyman free agents to become great players, majority of the drafts pick to hit, and previous regimes picks to take the next step?

Half the board thought we would have won more games with Rudolph at QB. Now we have a clear upgrade in a weak division and we shouldn't expect better results?

Whose due for a massive long term contract on our current roster?

It's always a bad year to get a QB in free agency.....

So Ryan Stonehouse just signed with Miami… to play for ST coordinator Craig AUKERMAN that almost ended his career! Good luck Stoney! 😳

He can still hold-in and refuse to participate in team activities to avoiding most of those fines, just like Chase.

Let's also not forget about Ramsey "back ailment" as well that healed over night as soon as he was traded.

If he sits out games, he doesn't get game checks....which is what his base salary is.  SMH....

Some people being to high on some rookies has nothing to do with your opinion on this. Take your whataboutism somewhere else.

Hooker, chig and McCeary will need new deals this year. Sronski will need 1 next year.  They may need to resign zeitler if slater isnt the godsend 6th round replacement and he decides to keep playing.

Do you want a 30 year old edge or 3-4 of those guys?

Outside chig those are all plus starters and moving on from all of them would just create more holes to fill.

Hooker - positional value

Skronski - positional value

Chig - positional value

Wait does positional value only matter when it comes to our own free agents?

90% of the guys you listed need to have career years to even consider being retained.

The bigger flaw is the idea you can trade for him with a day 3 pick.  A guy with back to back 17 sack seasons at a premium position.

He's an aging player that's not going to be viable at his position much longer?

He wants a long term deal at market price....hence the stalemate with Cincy.    And no Cincy's won't trade him for a day 3 pick.....

Congratulations.  Your idea is dumb all around.

Sure lets just never resign a player unless its a qb, wr, tackle, edge or cb. Thats how its done, how could I be so blind?

They offered him FMV at the time of negotiations. He already stated he isn't looking to be the highest paid player, what's not reported is guaranteed money which is almost always the issue here. He wants security, not a 4+ year contract extension.

You don't resign average to below average players at above FMV at low positional value positions just because they are home grown.

Hooker is the only one deserving right now, we have more than enough cap space in the next few years to still make key roster additions while retaining our own players. That's the benefit of having a rookie QB in the first two to 3 years.

Skronski was Dominant the 2nd half of the year.... and while it looks like Roger is on shaky ground for some reason he is one of the better slot cbs in the nfl.

What team are you watching?

But sure lets trade iur 3rd then throw 60million guranteed over 2 years for a 30 year old edge.
