Misquoting Jesus' words in scripture by making up stupid shit is even worse than misinterpreting it. Cult leaders like Mohammed would be proud. Thus sayeth the Lord... Real Christianity has always been pacifist. Jesus was famously executed rather than fighting back with his presumably supernatural powers to stop his enemies. Starkiller
The Boys did a bizarre Jesus bit with Homelander in their most recent episode that the writers probably considered might be too over the top. It was written over a year ago. Our insane reality Trumped it days before it even aired. IsntLifeFunny

You monumental retard "a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace." -Ecclesiastes 3:8 God commands war on multiple occasions. King David famously committed adultery while he was idle when it was a season of war. (2 Samuel 11:1) I don't blame you for interpreting Jesus' teachings in a simplified way. However, once again, Jesus was teaching his disciples. His audience was not the king or the political leaders. Jesus' mission and battle was for the hearts of men. War was the norm in those biblical times. That's why Jesus' teachings of pacifism were so revolutionary. But his objective was not pacifism itself. Jesus never objected to God's wrath on evil civilizations. Jesus' intentions for peace was the framework within which the gospel would be spread. War with Iran is not the objective. If this is indeed a just war, the safety of the American citizen and our allies should be the main objective. Destroying the source of the threats is the main objective. This is neither Christian or non-Christian. Just common sense.
