Number9
I want to know what was the problem that you had to fire a promising young coach? I know coaches don't last long, but Vrabel was a career guy. He got the Titans to the AFCCG, home field with a crippling injury to the engine of his offense and won HCOY. I think the owner has to have the ability to establish who is the GD boss when the coach is hired. You don't buck up to me. Next, who's idea was it to give our team to a 2nd round draft pick? Heir apparent? They trot him out their as the "Tennessee Titans OBOF". We get Will. A second round pick to put up against the three QBs drafted last year and the six first round picks this year. Eleven new QBs and we get #11. I mean that had to be the plan, so someone should go into detail about why Will? What did they see that other teams didn't see? Mel Kiper doesn't count. Lastly, why Callahan? There were several names floating of who would be the best hire. Cally's name wasn't on the top list. Why did you grab him before even bringing in other candidates? I'm sure Cally told him he saw great potential in Levis. So, snap! We got our guy! Aww. Aww, Cally doesn't have any talent. Well, maybe that is what kept Vrabel from winning last year. Number9 loves Vrabel. No, #9 knows this is better than the talent Vrabel had last year. Firing coaches and GMs might be, maybe window dressing to hide larger major problems. croatian22, and Bongo59

hido
Vrabel was 6-18 in his last 24. eskimo, Stevenths78, and IsntLifeFunny

Vrabel has won more games in 2024 for the Titans than Brian Callahan has so far. Lol. He beat the Jags in January 2024. Number9
I just asked some simple questions. I've mentioned this before and here come the simpletons attacking me. We all should want to know why they chose Will Levis out of eleven(11) first round QBs available. You have no QB for 2024. Everybody knew da King and Ryan would be leaving. So, what do we do at QB? next year? 2025. QB isn't a position you just grab a guy in the second round and turn over the franchise to. This had to be the plan because they thought it was such a great idea that they moved up to get him. At the very least they should come out and admit that was the plan. Number9
Still, unanswered. Who reasoned that Will was better than all six QBs picked in the first round this year?

Stevenths78
Ran wanted Stroud but Houston traded up so that’s easy. The other QBs suck even worse so again that’s an easy one. Vrabel was 6-18 in last 24 so again an easy one. the biggest questions are did Amy hire the right GM and did Ran hire the right coach? Who reasoned that Will was better than all six QBs picked in the first round this year? Some combination of Carthon and Vrabel. I’m betting they both liked him. Vrabel saw what he had and bailed (as in didn’t want Levis as starter for 2024 if he came back) after those 8 games last year . He knew what he had or didn’t have. It’s on Carthon now to explain that. Vrabel isn’t here to blame. Edited September 23, 2024 by rns90 Number9, and BigGambino

Finding you franchise QB in the second round is not a recipe for success. Could he not realize going up to draft him means you think that's your guy. If he took Levis in round one that argument would have legs. We knowingly wanted to take a risk on a QB in Levis. I still have zero issues taking a QB in later rounds, could be much worse. Could draft a bust in the top ten like many other teams

Could draft a bust in the top ten like many other teams It worked for the Eagles, but Hurts was way more of a realistic plan. Hurts slipped in the draft. Levis skyrocketed. Plus, you have to look at the player. Hurt ran into an unexpected event, lost his team. Hurts came in and worked his butt off. This guy shows up eating unpeeled bananas. Offseason, he's making the celebrity rounds as if he's a big time QB. If they brought him in before the draft they could see the guy is a nut. Now, he has perfume for sale. Ran is supposed to be a smart football man. QB is your number one asset. His resume will read I drafted Will Levis.
