In theory that would be great but cutting 30 lbs of fat and then putting it back on in muscle when you're already this big and have likely been lifting for over half a decade is extremely unlikely to happen. So unlikely that I would really just focus on improving his cardio and hoping that he can be disruptive in bursts like he was at Texas. A total body re-comp would take like 2 seasons given how much time football demands and how often he'd be on the road. Would take crazy discipline to do it any faster.

Yeah it would be a lot but he's not going to overwhelm NFL OL at 360 being fat either.

I'm not gonna lie, with the power he showed at Texas, I really thought he would. Even Simmons didn't man-handle dudes in college the way I saw Sweat do it. I still expect to see that power show up. Power like that doesn't just disappear out of nowhere and we've seen him show it against Cushenberry in one on ones.

College is pure ability more than fundamentals. Rocker is coaching him to get lower. Same power with NFL fundamentals = beast. He's just not there fundamentally yet as well as other contributing factors in the first outing.

He'd probably get good work working with Bertha/Olga. I wonder if any of the DL tries that,

I see what you're saying and yes his pad level was way too high but still. The guy has rare power when lets loose. I just didn't expect to see him get stone-walled by NFL back up guards.

I question whether a guy with his body type can play at 360 or 370 in the NFL in 2024-2025. He should probably shed 30 lbs and turn some of that fat into muscle. The biggest issue with Sweat to me is conditioning at his current weight. He could get away with that in College. That won't be the case in the NFL no matter how much talent he has.

The Titans are well aware of this. Callahan said they talked with him extensively about it on their pre draft visit to his home; Sweat also said something about if he gets down to 350 he'll be getting fitted for the yellow jackct, while outrageous shows he's aware of it too. I believe there are weight clauses in his contract as well. As meaningless as this game was, it probably did show him a glimpse of how much more work he's going to have to put in.

Take back all the shit I posted trying to give the previous OL coaches the benfit of the doubt. While injuries and dreams of playing LT hurt Radunz, it's obvious that he's getting a level of coaching that he wasn't previously. Now whether even Bill C could make Dillard a decent tackle...🤔

Both Jim Wyatt and Turron Davenport today in media appearances mentioned Cedric Gray is expected to return to practice this week from that shoulder injury and according to Davenport is expecting to play on Saturday in PSG2 against the Seahawks.

Over/Under 20 minutes before we see the first fight in these joint practices and will it be Simmons or Metcalf that starts the first fight?

Tough one. Hopefully it’s DK because that’ll mean Sneed is dealing.

I refuse to believe the Titans drafted this dude and the plan is to just let him play as an unconditioned fat dude. We've seen the power and explosiveness for a dude his size in Camp. They will maximize their investment.

Well all indications were Sweats application off the field was piss poor at Texas so that may be easier said than done
