Callidus
26 minutes ago, Face said: Yeah. Most young QB’s hate the dig/in. It’s just a real tough throw for a couple of reasons. You have to sit in the pocket for a long time yet throw with anticipation, have to read the LBers, just a tough throw. But there’s never been a great QB who isn’t very good on this throw & a few others in the middle of the field. A QB with a cannon for the deep stuff & outside is easy to defend. But that’s on Levis. Anyway, today didn’t go well. I just hope we pick high enough to have a shot at one of the few elite guys in this draft. Right now, of the non-QB’s there’s what, 5-6 elite guys? And 2 of them are secondary players, Johnson & Starks. We’re not picking them. So that leaves Tet, Carter, and Mason Graham who I think we spoke about may be worth it despite playing inside & us being set there. He’s that good. I’d probably put Nic Scourton, Burden3, and Campbell/Banks right below them. But this draft may not be as fruitful as one should be for a team this bad….. Burden is my next watch. Iv seen the highlights and a couple games in real time but havent sat down with him yet. But from that limited look I can see why he has 10-20 hype. Mason Graham is the only other guy iv watched alot on and Iv already said Idc if he isnt a need and looks like a prototype 3tech, slap him on our dline and make everyone wonder what to do. Carter sounds like landry on steroids from what i have seen. Gota love he was good as an offball lb before moving to edge and killing it there as well. He is on the shotlist as well.
