Because it's charted against the league and he's on the extreme end.

He's a rookie and I want a rookie attempting throws rather than being scared.

I'd be much more worried if my QBs were geno, Tanny, flacco, jones.... they should be much better than that with their experience.

Hell yeah brother. Fucking slang that thang Wild Bill. We’ll dial things in as we go.

Um the graph on the clean pocket is talking about when he had time and just missed throws.  The OL and offensive issues are different here.  These are the ones where he had time and just didn’t make throws.

We’ve seen this play out where at times he just goes through rough stretches in games and just makes poor throws.

This just confirms what most of us saw.

What gets me is that before the draft no one wanted Levis based (presumably) on his college tape and concerns. Then he actually plays and he plays pretty much exactly to the same level he did in college aside from the Falcons game. Despite this, any time someone expresses concern about Levis, they're labeled a hater or something. Makes no sense. Ignoring the concerns won't make them go away. Of course we're all hoping that they do but the risk is very real.

Rather that than Mariota being scared to throw an interception and going into turtle mode at the first sign of pressure like the Ravena debacle back in 17. If he doesn't correct it then he's easy to get rid of.

Lmao what? Everyone on this board, including me, has dogged Levis for his accuracy issues and decision making, especially that hit he took against the 350 pound DT. This screams i'm a victim!

For real. Get the kid an offense built for him, even average weapons and Oline, and coaches that know how to coach QBs... then we can better know what we've got.

This idea I hate the team, albeit from a retard, is laughable.

Acknowledging that the OC and QB coach hires are underwhelming is more than reasonable based on their experience/resume's.   Especially when you're looking for them to develop a young QB with some big flaws.

Idk why. We're going to the muthafuckin Super Bowl, bih! Act accordingly!

I remember calling Mariota out in training camp for not throwing interceptions. I of course fell for the facade, but I never wanted him, and him only throwing the ball to wide open WRs was one of the reasons. Give me a Favre type all day. It's easier to diagnose if he's getting better or not and whether to go with him or cast him off. With a conservative Alex Smith/Mariota type it's harder to diagnose because they have good accuracy but are so conservative it puts a really low ceiling on the offense.

I'm obviously not talking about that graph lol. I quoted someone talking about the interception throw percentage. You see the similarity? Levis is an outlier but where is Tannehill? Thanks.

lol yes, let’s compare 36 year old Tannehill who is clearly not the same player with Levis

I'm only doing so because look at the fucking chart! Sheesh. When I first looked at it I saw Tannehill and thought it was Levis. Then saw Levis way off in the stars off to the right. Use deductive reasoning. It isn't about them as players. It's saying both went through the same exact shit and were forced into throwing bad passes because of it. I know Tannehill is a good QB. If he was on the opposite end of that graph I'd have more concern about Levis. But he isn't, because our line was the worst in the league.

It's not about being a victim. It's about the level of incredulity that is displayed when people express that Levis might not be the long-term answer for us. I have definitely seen people be accused of rooting against Levis for sharing such concerns. What I'm really wondering is what it is that people saw that changed their minds on him so radically because I watched his college tape and his 2023 play and didn't think he was much better than he was in college save for of course the ATL game. All of the same pros and cons showed up. I understand that he's had OL issues dating back to college and maybe he looks way different once those get cleaned up but that remains to be seen.
