That's a terrible deduction.  No one cares about Tannehill playing, probably not even Tannehill. The team is tired of Vrabel and the staff.

I bet it's not.   Simmons alluded to the offense not carrying their weight the last 2 post game pressers.

They are living with the growing pains of a rookie QB while 1 less year of their playing/earning careers is for playing out the string.  I'm sure that's an issue, especially in the last 3 games.

It wasn't an issue at 2-4 with the offense putting up 17 ppg?

They hadn't put the white flag up for 2023 yet, had they?  And I'm not even saying they are wrong for throwing Levis in there, I was in favor of it.  That said, a player on a unit getting little support from the other unit will see it differently.

I guarantee you no one is worried about Levis versus Tannehill. The offense has been trash regardless. They're looking at the coaches.

Well to be honest, your guarantee won't buy me much.

They are looking at the defense getting heat when it's the offense not carrying their load....That's what it sounds like to me.

And if people on the defense think the better QB isn't playing, then yes that might be hard to swallow even if it's in the organization's best interests long term.  I'm sure the tape shows Levis making mistakes Tannehill doesn't make but I think everyone knew this would be the case for the short term.

The offense has been letting the defense down pretty much all year, so I doubt this is really about Levis as much as it's about the trend the whole year. I'm sure telling the defense they have to be better when they hadn't even allowed 30 points until this past week has worn thin.

Exactly but the QB change could factor into that very easily when they see teams taking advantage of Levis' inexperience.  You're just not going to win many games scoring 16 PPG.
