The overwhelming number of women who report sexual misconduct are telling the truth.

I don't doubt that, but that's not 'all,'  There is a reason courts require evidence for a conviction...unless, of course, you're a politician and forget the presumption of innocence?

I agree. We rush to judgement. The presumption of innocence has actually turned into presumption of guilt across nearly all criminal and civil matters in the court of public opinion.

I’m sure that’s great consolation to Ariza.

That guy's reputation is ruined and how that it seems now he will have to go and climb back to the top you can say. Really guy was ruined for sure. Hope he can climb on back and comeback. I believe in innocent til proven guilty. But sadly our society as it is way too quick to judge and do not think about the consequences in ruining an innocent person's life.

Setting aside that he wasn't there, allegedly, which is a pretty big deal ... that article is worded in a way that's pretty unfair to the accuser in regards to how it discusses whether or not videos proved it was consensual or not.

He basically just had to take 1 year off of football to deal with a legal issue and now he will come back with a clean record. His reputation isn’t ruined.

They were proven innocent. Do you think any of them are still suffering from it today?

The program absolutely is, and how long ago was that?

As for the players, they played fucking Lacrosse.  Nobody knows their names.

Not sure how you can just set aside the fact that law enforcement have taken the position that Arazia wasn’t there when the alleged attack took place.
