It's been pretty frustrating overall because I expected more range with spells and a spear but the only spell you have for a long time is an up close one, targeting is goofy and most enemy moves aren't interrupted even when I do hit them. There's no such thing as keeping range.

 

I should have gone with a bow out a preferred class for melee combat. I'm getting somewhat more powerful now same I did finally get an incantation (spell) that has range.

Without getting too spoilery, if you ever end up somewhere that says combat is prohibited and some of the NPCs even have lines about how you're safe and to relax ... keep your guard up and be smart.

No ultrawide support. Yes, there are workarounds but Ill wait until its fixed, if ever

 

XBox controls pop up on the PC. Yes, its a small thing, but when it says press A, I want to be able to press A (Or right mouse button). I'm being anal about it, I know.

 

You may even be able to fix it but I didn't because the deal breaker:

 

Capped at 60 FPS.  I play checkers at higher than 60 FPS.  Its visibly noticeable.

I went with warrior or whatever started with 2 swords. I feel I stagger a lot of enemies almost to a detriment because I get out of position way too many times

Like you’re not close enough to land the critical hit finisher? I can’t roll for shit. Every time I roll, even if I successfully dodge an attack, I end up too far away to hit them. I started as confessor, so the shield is cheesy but it helps a lot. Probably to a fault if it keeps me from learning how to dodge properly. Im really digging the game so far but I keep getting worked by the knights on horseback.
