You should've saved this lecture back then. You didn't. I don't care about being called a moron by people acting moronic. But it's about time people wake the FUCK UP and stop acting like they've got everything figured out because they Googled some stat sheets. There's been a lot of "you don't know football" flexing and enough is enough. I'm not looking to be right. I never have. Actually, I'm not even going to be RIGHT. I haven't said anything that wasn't already said before me. I'm just out to prove the fallacy in this "I know more than the GMs and coaching staff" B.S. that really just comes down to a bunch of fanboys infatuated with YET ANOTHER QB. Albeit the best one we've had in over a decade. Bullshit. You're the one not even acknowledging that the QB is down to scrubs at WR, has guys off the street at RB and has a bad pass blocking ol. And yet you still expect him to elevate these scraps to a top scoring offense. All that stuff has nothing to do with the stats you so disdain. I said if he's as good as you all said he was ... he'd do that. He'd fill the hole, or most of the hole, our RB and best player left. He hasn't. We're not even passing for more yardage ... we're doing less. I said he's good. And that's what he is.

Have more faith in your dumbass beliefs/stats that that. I'm not backtracking on anything. I completely understand how the team is specifically built to play, what is the cause of the QB and what isn't, what Henry does and doesn't do for the team, and how match ups and in-game situations influence the play calling. All of this is aside from the idiocy of comparing before/after with Henry while completely ignoring the WR issues, game situations, and consistent pass protection issues. Unlike you, Jamal, and the other resident idiots, I've been and am completely accurate in what I post. Now go back to pretending that the Titans are hiding the player they gave an almost fully guaranteed 120 M contract......or that the passing game issues have anything to do with Henry being out. And just for clarity sake since you "idiots" and I mean this very specifically don't understand that my pointing out the kicker stats with and without Henry was MOCKING the asinine comparison given the injury situation at WR...... The fact you have to write all this says enough LOL. Make sure you put the car in drive when you're ready to move forward. And again ... contracts? Really? What a joke lol. Yeah it says you guys are simply not smart or honest enough to properly acknowledge what was said or what is happening. As for the contracts, it sure is relevant. If Tannehill is what you think he is and what the Titans think of him, they would have gone with a cheaper option when he was a free agent. Either Robinson is the dumbest motherfucker on the planet or you don't know what the fuck you talk about. PS - Robinson isn't dumb.

Who knows how well he can block but he’s not far off from Jonnu on a size/weight + physicality angle. Devin Funchess is out there as a FA and started out as a TE in college though he wasn't known for his blocking, thought it would be worthwhile for some team to sign him to their PS and convert him to a move type athletic TE

I mean this subject was talked about and laughed off in another thread but keep embarrassing yourself. Yeah, QB contracts vs. a RB contracts in the NFL market completely establishes who the team sees as the best player. And decides the focus of our offense. Tannehill year-for-year is better than Myles Garrett, TJ Watt and Aaron Donald. Because the contract said so! I can't believe you've gone this far. What about field conditions? You hear anything about global warming affecting passes? Tannehill is a piece, an important piece, but not the centerpiece.
rns90
Again you fail to ackwoledge that the QB is the most important piece on offense (not the best player) and if he struggles the entire offense goes into the shitter. They ran for 200+ yards in NE and still lost, mr. Wishbone. And you know what, they probably would have lost too, with Henry.

I'm not saying any of the blather you just posted comparing him to star defensive players. I'm saying that Tannehill's contract was setup to be virtually fully guaranteed based on it's structure. That says something that you don't want to admit and I don't expect you to given all of the asinine posts you've made on the subject. If Robinson/Vrabel felt about Tannehill the way you claim the team does, they never would have been paying that for the position. They would have gone with a much more affordable game manager type or alternatively gone after Brady.

They're an expensive, valuable piece even if they're not your star or best player. A good one costs a lot. And Tannehill is a good one. It's supply and demand. It's fucking obvious. And I don't think there's another available. As I've said in another thread. But, he's obviously an important piece and not the centerpiece. So when you have a good one you do your best to surround him with playmakers and PRAY they don't get hurt ... or ... well .. you see ...

Again though, the offense is struggling not because of Tannehill but the rudimentary skill position play and awful pass protection for the most part. As for NE, I actually think the game is entirely different with Henry. I don't think he fumbles 3 times and I know he scores on the RZ run that Foreman didn't bounce outside. Even in the Houston game, they had some critical fails in the run game before it got out of hand and before the deluge of interceptions once the scrubs were playing. To be honest, I'm not sure. The defense wasn't good in that game either. It's probably 50/50 whether or not they win the NE game. Yeah, HOU it was a shitstorm of everything. Bad weather, bad ST (this one is on Robinson for not finding a decent returner), and having to depending on scrubs like Fitzpatrick and the run game issues (big Peterson screwups). If so, why pay Tannehill when they could have signed Brady (whom you've said is elite) or gone cheaper game manager mode..... Regardless - this idea that teams don't surround their franchise QB's with playmakers is pretty laughable in it's own right. And the offense was functioning just fine until all of those playermakers went down at once........

That's what the consensus is from people who know more than me. If you want to look at that as a knock on Tannehill ... go ahead. I don't think it is. I'm just not going to blame the staff and everyone else if the passing offense doesn't live up to YOUR false imagination of what we have.
