I said if he's as good as you all said he was ... he'd do that. He'd fill the hole, or most of the hole, our RB and best player left. He hasn't. We're not even passing for more yardage ... we're doing less.

I'm not backtracking on anything.  I completely understand how the team is specifically built to play, what is the cause of the QB and what isn't, what Henry does and doesn't do for the team, and how match ups and  in-game situations influence the play calling.

 

All of this is aside from the idiocy of comparing before/after with Henry while completely ignoring the WR issues, game situations, and consistent pass protection issues.

Now go back to pretending that the Titans are hiding the player they gave an almost fully guaranteed 120 M contract......or that the passing game issues have anything to do with Henry being out.

Yeah it says you guys are simply not smart or honest enough to properly acknowledge what was said or what is happening.

 

As for the contracts, it sure is relevant.  If Tannehill is what you think he is and what the Titans think of him, they would have gone with a cheaper option when he was a free agent.  Either Robinson is the dumbest motherfucker on the planet or you don't know what the fuck you talk about.  PS - Robinson isn't dumb.

Yeah, QB contracts vs. a RB contracts in the NFL market completely establishes who the team sees as the best player.  And decides the focus of our offense. 

 

Tannehill year-for-year is better than Myles Garrett, TJ Watt and Aaron Donald. Because the contract said so!

Tannehill is a piece, an important piece, but not the centerpiece.

Again you fail to ackwoledge that the QB is the most important piece on offense (not the best player) and if he struggles the entire offense goes into the shitter.  They ran for 200+ yards in NE and still lost, mr.  Wishbone.  And you know what, they probably would have lost too, with Henry.

I'm saying that Tannehill's contract was setup to be virtually fully guaranteed based on it's structure.  That says something that you don't want to admit and I don't expect you to given all of the asinine posts you've made on the subject.

QBs command more market share. They're an expensive, valuable piece even if they're not your star or best player. A good one costs a lot. And Tannehill is a good one. 

 

It's supply and demand. It's fucking obvious.

 

And I don't think there's another available. As I've said in another thread.

So when you have a good one you do your best to surround him with playmakers and PRAY they don't get hurt ... or ... well .. you see ...

Again though, the offense is struggling not because of Tannehill but the rudimentary skill position play and awful pass protection for the most part.

 

As for NE, I actually think the game is entirely different with Henry.  I don't think he fumbles  3 times and I know he scores on the RZ run that Foreman didn't bounce outside.

 

Even in the Houston game, they had some critical fails in the run game before it got out of hand and before the deluge of interceptions once the scrubs were playing.

Maybe.  To be honest, I'm not sure.  The defense wasn't good in that game either.  It's probably 50/50 whether or not they win the NE game.

 

Yeah, HOU it was a shitstorm of everything.  Bad weather, bad ST (this one is on Robinson for not finding a decent returner), and having to depending on scrubs like Fitzpatrick and the run game issues (big Peterson screwups).
