Y’all crazy if you didn’t think that was a catch lol. If a player is able to turn their whole torso, they have possession.

the rules about catches are so weird, and I won’t pretend to know them.

it sure looked like a catch and fumble to the naked eye.

And take a step.

I’ve never really had faith in the Titans, but the Vrabel era has always given hope.  The team will show up to play even when they fuck up.  Hopefully it’ll be close.

Thats not the rule. Its two feet down, secure the ball, and make a football move. Gene Steretore broke it down on the broadcast and explained why the final component was missing. The call on the field was fine as it was a bang bang play. The review was botched which is why Steretore and the announcers were shocked the call stood.

Wrong. The step he took was his second foot coming down which means it wasn't a football move as you can't get to the football move of the catch until after the first two components are completed.

The call was correct both initially and upon review.

No it wasn't. Gene Steretore explained why. He never made a football move after securing the ball.

Disagree. If that’s not a football move, I don’t know what is. The issue is that it happened so fast in real time that it looked incomplete on first glance.

So you guys are saying if that play was in the endzone and they called it a Jags touchdown you would still say it was a catch?

That a different scenario. You don't need the football move component in the endzone.

I'm not even sure that would've been a catch had it been ruled incomplete on the field even if it was in the end zone.

Its not a football move and Steretore explained why. You have to have both feet down with the ball secured and then make a football move. Arnold was never able to make a football move as the ball came loose right after his 2nd foot touched down. you can't get to component 3 without components 1 and 2 being completed first.

Yeah quite possible. That may have fallen under the ambigous complete the process of the catch going to the ground nonsense if it were in the endzone.

Personally I thought it should’ve been ruled and complete based upon how that play happened. Clearly Rashawn Evans agreed because he very easily allow Jacksonville to score on the next drive by going into the wrong gap and allowing Robinson around for 60 yards

True, but my point is that is wasn't a catch and we got lucky. If it was in the endzone most Titans fans would be arguing it wasn't a catch.
