Fair enough, but yea, it's all in there

I've never been the best at reading it because I've heard it all several times.

Whether you believe in God or not, one thing we all can agree in is that humans can mess everything up. That's who I blame when I see horrible stuff going on everywhere

Men. If we had more women rulers presidents I can guarantee there wouldn’t have been 2 world wars.

Sure, not a problem.

I was replying to two things but the cake first. When I run into gay couples, I treat them like I would anyone else. I don't start thinking to myself "YOURE GONNA BURRNNN.". While we may notice actions or lifestyles that most Abrahamic religious disagree with, I strongly believe you treat, what we would call sinners, the same way you would anyone else.  This isn't me accepting or being ok with what they decide to do, this is me exercising the love part of what Jesus taught.

That being said, if that same couple came and said "I'd like you to bring your business to our wedding", then it makes us an active participate in a wedding. Despite the fact that we know that weddings existed before our definition of a wedding, we still believe that a marriage is made for a man and a woman. Doing that makes them become an active participate and that's why these people feel so strongly about it

While it may be easy to point the finger and call them or me a bigot, know this. I, and many others, would feel the same about an adulterer, a monogamist, or any type of lifestyle that would fit outside what I believe. (None of you can change what I believe, just like I cant change what you believe)

As for "why is ok then all of a sudden it's bad when they get married", it's similar. Beforehand we would feel the same, but there's always a chance for change. Once they get to the point to where they are entering, what should be a union for life, then it's an acceptance of something for the rest of their lifes.

A person can practice their faith every day in the real world and not be the type of person to stand on the corners of streets with signs.

When you get into a discussion with a Christian about religion,  you should know what you're getting into. The same as I should know what I'm getting into when I decide to comment here or talk about God in the world. No change is going to happen but productive dialogue is still possible.

Agree with it or not, it really is as simple as not wanting to be an active participant in the gay couples wedding.

There are churches that marry same sex couples.

If I’m going to be personal, I find good in the moment between people sharing a cultural experience.  We become a part of something greater than ourselves.

I think of this as a polytheistic experience, and have preferences in terms of which gods I worship.  I prefer sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll over the orange god.

Interpretation.  The Evangelicals have zero problem supporting injustice to black people.  They interpret the bible differently than Catholics who only support injustice to black people because they believe in right to life, sodomizing little boys and burying babies under the nunnery.

The person dancing with the snake is much higher in God's eye than the man putting his penis in little boys, don't you agree?

Of course. Not sure how I gave the impression otherwise.   The point was that sometimes churches do things that are stupid, wrong, immoral, disgusting, sinful, and a long dirty list of other things.

However that seems to be all that you can see. If you judge a philosophy by it's abuses, then you're never going to see the good in anything.

You don't see a problem with that statement? Either way, if you don't, that's a rabbit hole I'm not really interested in going down. Hopefully I gave you an answer you can relate to if you put yourself in their shoes.

Poor Touched, he has a tard army full of atheist, agnostic and believers. In the end he’s nothing but a 100% retarded hypocrite. I’m sure some fucked in the head thought is telling him he’s just promoting religious discussion.

I do interpret the bible differently.  I even used to give people sections of the Bible to use in overcoming problems.  I think there's some inspired word in the Bible.  I also realize that the Bible has a lot of man's ideas of what they thought was right.  The writers of the Bible decided what books to include in the Bible and those not to include.

Again, it was written for men who could not read.  The Bible is said to predict he future, but the writers of the Bible thought the earth was flat.  They believed in giant monsters out in the ocean.  There's not mention of the internet.  But God destroyed an entire city.

I can interpret things in the Bible, but all these Churches are interpreting it too.

What the florist did when asked to provide the flowers for the wedding. Does the florist disapprove of homosexuality because it is sex between two people of the same sex? That's what makes it homosexuality, right? If so, why does the florist really like the two men and wishes they would return as customers (see the article).

And the Catholic school knew of their teacher's homosexuality and partner long before they fired him. So, why didn't they fire him earlier? Do these people think homosexual sex is o.k. but not marriage between homosexuals? Usually, as far as heterosexuals, sex before marriage is wrong but sex after marriage is great. Doesn't make sense. But, neither does a lot of other stuff they believe, so there's that.
