But coming here, he will have AJB. Would work nicely IMO

Juju had a couple of decent receivers he was playing with but that didn't seem to help him.

The question I have about Juju is... was it AB leaving or was it Ben's arm leaving that did Juju in? Would Tannehill throwing him the ball help bring him back?

The more I look into Juju the more I think he's a good fit for what we look for in skill players. His speed is definitely lacking but he creates a good bit of YAC through sheer toughness and running through tackles. He's very good on contested catches/jump balls, and he works really well in the underneath game. I also didn't realize that he's only 24 years old and for all the talk of him having a down year he still put up 800+ yards and 9 TDs. Not too shabby for playing with dead arm Ben. Again, he's on the slower side and he certainly doesn't separate like you'd want him to but if we can get him at a discount I feel confident we won't see much of a drop off from Davis to him if at all...

JuJu got lost in the shuffle last year with so many WRs and I think Ben's lack of arm strength hurt him. If we could get him I think he is worth a look.

How much money will JRob spend on a 2nd WR? I'm not sure. But they really need a 2nd receiving target after losing Davis and Jonnu. And the free agent talent drop off is pretty steep after JuJu. Who is the next best left now? DeDe Westbrook? Sammy Watkins? Alshon Jeffery?

The only other receivers available, that I know of at this moment, is AB and TY Hilton. AB is old and a headcase and Hilton is old and has an injury history.

I'm fine with Juju. But his market value is $16.1M. Fuller's was 17 and he supposedly got 10 on a 1-year deal. Maybe we can get Juju on a similar deal?

TY Hilton and JuJu and then the rest.

We don't have enough money for that.  We only have 13.9 or 15 million in cap room and that's not counting Jenkins' cap hit.

Would you go for a contract similar to what Marvin Jones got but a little longer? We'd be tight against the cap but we could make it work.

Probably.  His cap hit is 4.287 million.  But the problem is that the Titans haven't shown any  interest at all in FA WR.  So I have no idea what is going on there or their budget allocated for it.

Looking closer into this:  a trade for a WR might make more sense.  If they don't want to spend more than 3 million on a WR, Miller and Harry (barf) make sense.  Both have cap hits under 2 million dollars if traded for.

Generating the necessary cap space isn’t hard at all. Just renegotiate Tannehill's contract.

I see what you're saying. My sole focus is in acquiring someone that gives us a really good shot at not only replacing Davis's production but also his impact. I think if we can replace Davis with Juju at a lower price that would put many of my fears of the offense regressing to bed. You're right that we haven't shown any real interest in Juju specifically nor in the vet receiver market in general.

My best guess is that they are either waiting it out for the prices to get super low and scoop up a bargain (any vet WR that hasn't signed yet and has played significant snaps) or they are just going to sing the WR equivalent of Kevin Johnson/low budget types and focus multiple draft picks on WR (and one on a TE).

I'm rooting for it to be the first option.  Demarcus Robinson is another name that I haven't seen mentioned yet.  I kind of hope they don't sign Watkins or Golden Tate.  They seem washed up to me.

I hope I am wrong but I think our WR2 and WR3 are rookies.

I’m sure they will sign at least 1 veteran. The only real question is how good of a WR...

If it isn’t JuJu then I’m thinking TY or DeDe.

If they get really desperate, they could roll the dice on Alshon Jeffery. But yikes, they would need some depth there...

Today the Nashville Sports talk "insiders" were pretty confident we were not signing another WR before the draft. I understand they might be wrong, it just worries me.  I think JuJu will do the whole "free agency tour" thing like Suh did. He probably would enjoy being wined and dinned.
