If they ultimately trade ARod.. id assume they would get Teddy Bridgewater (in an assumed trade with Denver) in order to "compete". If they do that and get one of Denver's receivers like Hamler then they can slow some hemorrhaging as a result of losing the current MVP

Can see us be interested in Hicks.  2016 he had a breakout year, Jim Schwartz first year with the Eagles.  Would be a solid veteran addition in the middle.

I don't see this happening at all

We've already brought in guys that previously played for Schwartz, Hicks is on an extremely cheap contract right now.  He's still one of the better coverage linebackers in the NFL.

For a late round pick, Hick's is worth the veteran leadership.

But will it happen? Not likely

I know several of us were interested in Kerrigan as a veteran edge option early in the process, but Reising threw a nugget out on the radio earlier with Blaine and Mickey that he wasn't interested in coming to Tennessee. Didn't give any reasons why, and who knows if he actually knows something. But I thought that was odd/interesting. Maybe he either just wanted to start or stay in Washington. Or maybe he doesn't like Haslett. Anyway, Reising said that Kerrigan's options are Washington or Cincinnati at this stage.

Buck Reising who said Corey Davis was progressing towards a new deal with TN and that Jayon Brown was as good as gone? I’m not buying anything he says.

Haha fair enough. I don't know that he's been right about anything in terms of his "reporting"

Why would he want to come here when it's well known they don't rotate their edge guys much.

I wonder if we would rotate more if he had some competent backups.

Maybe but Kerrigan also is at the end of the line.   Is he going to play in pass rush situations?  Probably not.
