Biden White House: Year 4

This is related on the hypocrisy front.

Anyone complaining only about Biden’s age is being a hypocrite, but that doesn’t mean we can’t complain that so much of the ruling class is clearly well past their primes.

It’s possible to admit that if the emails are authentic as the New York Times reported then there are some valid questions we should have.

Bringing up storming the capital is total whataboutism.

Asking “where is the laptop” is a distraction.

Bringing up Trumpers not caring about Trump’s almost certain corruption is  pointing out obvious hypocrisy on their part, but a similar hypocrisy is on display by Democrats on this board with these various rationalizations.

Don't lump in @Starkiller who would defend a democrat murdering someone in cold blood with others who simply think based on the evidence at hand, the laptop thing is a non story.

I don't like the whatabout game but this stupid ass laptop thing warrants it.

would be different if the corruption wasn’t so brazen and evident from the last administration while they were in the government.

Lol none of this is real. It’s simply that no one gives a shit about something that hasn’t been proven in the face of everything that has actually been proven to have happened in the name of our government the past 5 years. If the emails are authenticated then let him be investigated.

It’s a pretty accurate summary.

They are investigating him for FARA violations and they have authenticated the emails.

That’s from the NYT.

FARA lol. Okay. Get back to me when he’s charged.

OMG, some privileged white dude uses his last name to make a quick buck and skirt the rules? I'm shocked this goes on in our country!

This is such a silly defense. It's the same defense the Trump's could use since what they did to skirt taxes to pass on their wealth is commonplace in the USA.

Why would they be held accountable for crimes somebody else noticed?!

If you read the article you'd see that's unlikely and they might go with civil violations. It's hard to prove intent (the same reason it's unlikely they ever charge Trump with anything btw).

If they don't try to get him for criminal FARA violations then they can't really go after him for the money laundering too.

Stop projecting, no one said its okay for the elite to get away with shit. I'm saying there are tons of things that are shady but not illegal and more importantly, hard to prove. The Laptop is a complete non story until reporting or evidence comes out that makes it more serious. You just want to bitch about everything non stop. @Starkiller will defend anything done by a democrat but others as shown in this thread have simply said this isn't an issue based on current information. If new information comes to light then prosecute Hunter's grifting ass. Its the same stance many of us have across the board that has absolutely nothing to do with political affiliation. Your pathetic attempts to create a  false equivalency and call out hypocrisy here are annoying and a waste of time.

Most things are non-stories until they become stories.

I don't recall you complaining about the Trump crimes thread despite the same lack of actual evidence or likelihood of them getting charged with anything due to the same difficulty of proving it.

Seems pretty obvious which one makes you more upset, and it's also obvious why.

Exactly. I think the law needs to be amended, especially for family members of people in government, to give it more teeth.

All I’m saying is that if this is the worst dirt they have then I’m laughing because it’s a joke in terms of relativity. That isn’t whataboutism. It’s logic. Like I said if he broke the law investigate and prosecute him or hold him civilly liable.

There’s something called a preponderance of evidence. In Trump’s case it’s a massive amount from before and after he was in office. Huge difference. If anyone is whatabouting it’s actually you for comparing the situations as even remotely similar.

Wrong. I've always said evidence is evidence.... Nice try.

If they find Hunter violated the law, then proceed with the appropriate punishment.

That is not what the right, and El Guapo are even angry about, though.  They are angry because the media didn't run with the original story when the NY Post wouldn't release the information they had for anyone to verify or look into it.  El Guapo is literally angry that other news orgs didn't report rumors from the Post.  Not to mention how this was supposed to be proof that the Biden's are criminals, when so far what they have are some tax issues and potentially some foriegn agent violations on Hunter.  Okay, great, punish him.

The bigger picture has nothing to do with Hunter Biden.  They want to conflate this with a media coverup of Joe Biden's corruption.  The only reason they give one fuck about Hunter is where his DNA came from.

Hey, cool, you want to point out Hunter looks to be the douche everyone thought he was.  Okay.  That's not even in the ballpark of what they want the story to be.
