Are you denying he was in serious trouble heading to SC? The rest of the party sure seemed to believe it since they took complete control, had people drop out of the race etc... to ensure he won.

That was another media narrative that wasn't rooted in reality. Everyone in the party knew the Southern Democrats would decide the primary winner.

The reason you shouldn't get your news from any White House is they're going to mislead you to make themselves look better. This was another horrible jobs report.

Who said anything about the bad Sep jobs report?

Sorry that good news about being ahead of the unemployment forecast irks you so much.

I think what you posted is misleading because while it's true the jobs numbers are ahead of where they were projected to be pre-American Rescue Plan passage, they're behind where they were projected to be more recently post-American Rescue Plan. They're putting a spin on what was a disappointing report.

I don't get irked by good news. I don't like being mislead, or the government misleading people.

Oh give me a break, the point is that the ARP is working, albeit it slower than we hope.

There's no doubt there are worker shortage issues and supply chain issues right now though, along with the delta surge slowdown.

It's bad when things are under performing projections. You aren't going to get the complete picture from any White House.

They're over-performing initial projections. But yes, the numbers missed the mark by a good bit in the most recent report and I hope they turn things around.

My worry is that the expanded child tax credit and other provisions are keeping some people out of lower wage work, along with mass workplace deportations (which DHS just put a hault to).

Really need more immigrants and more Americans to re-enter the workforce as the price points increase.

The Fed is too woke? I think the word is starting to lose all meaning. It's just a general pejorative now.

I think he’s using the term correctly here in some sense.
