Dispatch:  Be advised the speech has ended.

Officer:  Don't worry, we got 3 machine gun nests on top of the Capitol stairs.  If they keep comin', they'll be eating lead.

30 mins. later...

Dispatch:  Officer, what is your current status.

Officer:  400 dead in Ohio Wash. D.C.!  We got the bastards.  Time to update the Neil Young song...

Anyone who is watching this that has two brain cells knows the truth that without Trump calling the shots this never would have happened. Hell, as soon as he called them off they all left. Case closed. Fucking partisan hacks won’t convict him, but they will hopefully be held accountable for betraying the United States to a wannabe tinpot dictator. Every single one who doesn’t vote to convict is a coward.

I don't think there has ever been anyone more guilty.

If I were Pence, I'd throat punch that POS the next time I saw him.

I’m sure that if Obama or Hillary were behind it all those GOP senators would vote just the same way, right?

The Republicans have made the USA so weak. They can't even get an obvious conman who did obvious crimes held to account because they are too weak. They've literally left the very people they despise, the Democrats, left as the sole sensible and capable people to defend the USA. That's the reality right now. The Republicans are either compromised or so ineffectual that they can easily be compromised. They definitely can't govern or be trusted to do anything of any serious responsibility anymore - their pursuit of power in the USA is a detriment to the country and only seeks to weaken it. They should be abolished and anyone who wasn't fighting against Trumpism from early on should be tarred and feathered away from any sort of public service.

The Trump "experiment" was a complete and utter failure, and anyone who voted for him or supported him in any significant way should feel ashamed and publicly humiliated and disgraced. How they think they can slither back into normal society is beyond me. This "time to heal" stuff is great in principle but it doesn't solve the core issue, which is these people are sick and they are a clear threat.
