Titans staff member tests positive facility closed again (10/11)

If all the protocols were followed yesterday,  and it was a coach, I see no reason why they couldn't isolate his close contacts that were within 6 ft for 15 or more minutes and open the facility. This is possibly a new case that has nothing to do with the outbreak. It has been over 14 days since Bowen tested positive.

It’s a coach why it was sooo dumb to open the facility after just two days of negatives when we had two days of negatives before and had another positive the next day. This is on the NFL

In theory wearing a mask and social distancing within the facility should prevent further spread. If they aren't doing these things after the last week its hopeless.

Course it’s a coach, Shefter already reported that

That's who pft credited with the news. Thats 10 coaches now. I find it hard to believe 10 coaches get infected if they are all wearing masks and socially distancing properly.

To be honest, coaches can do their jobs socially distant from players completely.  They should be doing zoom meetings at the facility. When on the practice field, players should remain 6 ft from coaches, and they definitely should not need to speak to a position group for 15 minutes or longer while on the practice field. If the coach is wearing a mask, there is no way a coach should be able to spread to a player, and vice versa.

Edit: Sidelines in games would be a little more difficult. Masks, masks, masks!

Yup basic shit. As long as teams continue to not do these things it gives the NFL the required ammo to claim their protocols work. I'm with Florio. Teams need to go into their own bubbles asap to salvage the season. If the players want to be paid they will agree to it. Its the NFL that needs to start the conversation.

Most times Covid is NOT transmitted through facial contact but through the spread of germs on hands and then touching your face. Hand sanitizer should always be used. But most people don't carry that aound with them and forget not to touch their face because they have been doing it for years. Even reaching up to adjust your mask can spread germs to your body.

Yeah...no. It’s mainly spread through aerosol droplets.
