Titans still the last team to beat the Chiefs.

It'll be interesting to see who beats them next. Truthfully for anyone to win, the Chiefs are going to have to beat themselves to a large degree with turnovers, penalties etc. They've evolved into a juggernaut. I posted it in the Week 3 thread I'm not sure what is more sobering between the New England Patriots dynasty which always looked vulnerable and beatable but had magical fluke luck at the key moments or the emerging Chiefs dynasty that is incredibly good but gives you no illusions of hope.

Everything. Literally everything. The fact I have to explain any of this is the most ridiculous shit I've heard all year. And we're in the middle of a pandemic and Donald Trump is President.

But let me help you just a tad ... Mahomes has less rushing yards in his career than Jackson has in like .. eight-to-ten games.

I'll repeat myself:  it's like he doesn't watch the games at all.  Mahomes scrambles to buy time to either complete throws downfield or to convert 3rd downs when everyone is covered and the entire defense has his back turned.  And some of those scrambles are backbreakers like the one he had late against LAC last week.

Jackson actually has runs called for him and is more of a threat running the ball than throwing.  There is a stark difference between those two anyone watching them would notice this.

Edit I am talking about from like 2004 and 2005.

There’s a few things you have to do but they certainly are beatable. They are going to get their points but if you can hold them to a few field goals and get a stop or a turnover or two, you have a chance. Obviously you want your defense to be able to generate pressure without having to send extra guys as that suicide against Mahomes. Offensively you better score touchdowns.  A team with balance on offense running and passing also is a huge thing. Control the ball shorten the game.

Ok but can Mahommes scramble? Yes...Is he a good scrambler, yes. They could run the same style offense because Mahommes can also scramble. He ran for a 30 yard Td vs us in the playoffs. In fact he scrambled better than Lamar in the playoffs.

As I stated, Mahommes has the ability to scramble, but he keeps his eyes down field. Yea Lamar is going to have more rushing yards, he plays in an offense designed for him to run. But if Mahommes wanted to he could scramble more.

As I stated, Mahommes just has superior skills.

Mahomes is not a running QB. Jackson is a running QB. Jesus.

There is no comparison lol ... moron.

It's like comparing Aaron Rodgers to Michael Vick. Like WTF.

The mountain of stupidity here is literally affecting my psyche.  My brain hurts. My ears are bleeding.

Lamar Jackson is a better version of Vince Young or Marcus Mariota or Colin Kaepernick. Take away their running ability and force them to have to throw the ball to win and they can’t do it.

Contrast that with mobile quarterbacks they are able to use that functional athletic ability to buy more time and make plays in the passing game. Old-school guys like John Elway or Stephen Young, Brett Favre, prime Steve McNair. Guys like Rodgers Mahomes and Wilson today.  Sure they could run on occasion but it was definitely a secondary part of their game used to move the chains when necessary.

Lamar Jackson would be completely in capable of running the offense that Andy Reid has. He lacks the accuracy and timing to do it. You have to run with Greg Roman is doing to make them functional. It was the same problem that Kaepernick had in San Francisco.

LOL ??. Wow, people on this board are so stupid. The fact that there are so many is scary.

Ok so let me ask, Are both considered mobile Quarterbacks. Im not saying they run the same system. I'm saying they can both run the same system. Smh lol. Dumb.

Every QB outside of the aging vets are mobile now. Jackson is a running QB. He runs, and when he runs he's as dangerous as any runner in the league. Mobility in the pocket and the ability to buy time doesn't mean you're a runner in the open field.

You're right about one thing. They're both quarterbacks. You got us there.
