The restraint itself isn’t in any police training and was excessive which lead to death despite pleas over an extended amount of time. It wouldn’t surprise me if these proud boy groups made it an easy target for anyone wanting to destroy that idea and get your MAGA on. It’s just interesting the pro-cop side of this is the one truly destroying things. Proud boys aren't pro-cop, they are pro-violence. There’s multiple groups with different motives. It’s just incorrect to assign the damage, riots, and looting all to one group (the protestors) when that isn’t what is happening. I've seen plenty of young white people looting and destroying property, they're actually probably the worst of it. I've seen black people begging them to stop and trying to stand people down and control their own protests to keep them peaceful. And I've also seen young angry disadvantaged black people looting and destroying property. So it's really a mixed bag - although it's by and large young people in general who are getting out of hand as per usual throughout history when it comes to rioting. It’s telling they are making a point of saying they will release the names of those arrested. I hope they follow-through on it. I think the nation will be surprised to see it’s largely Proud Boys or ANTIFA or whatever outlier identified group that are not a part of the community. I think anyone caught throwing even one brick that is arrested should be given an orange jump suit and is marched out everyday to clean up the destruction and made to rebuild all that is destroyed. They cant leave until it is built again. Also, any of their possessions, bank accounts, etc are seized and sold and the monies used to pay for their incarceration and or the rebuild.
