Derrick Henry

It's a tough question because without Tanne, Henry can get shut down by good run defenses but without Henry we lose our most explosive player. Personally, I'd take my chances with Henry being out and rely on Tannehill to carry the offense. On paper at least, we have a dynamic receiving corps and part of me is curious to see how they'd do in the spotlight. Unless the run defense is just inept, Henry without the threat at QB is not as effective a weapon.

Henry's the better player, but QB will always be more important.

RT isn't a great QB. He is just solid and because Henry is what he is, we only need a solid QB in order for things to click. Tannehill had Lamar Miller in Miami who is way better than what Dion Lewis would give him and he had Jarvis Landry and Mike Wallace. Miami leaned on RT to carry them and it didn't work out. RT is doing much better in Tennessee because the team isn't leaning on him and it allows him to play his way. If Tennessee got rid of Henry, got another typical HB, and then depended on RT to carry the team then it would just be Miami all over again.

I do think with a change in environment Tanne would be better here than in Miami even without DH, however, let's not test that theory and mess with what's working.  Success running it and solid QB play takes you a long way in playoff football.  I will admit that we've had such spectacularly shit QB play up until recently that Tanne looks like Brady/Montana incarnate out there to a lot of us right now.
