Starkiller
The Bengals have the ability to be a contender if they stay healthy. The 49ers seem certain to improve with Garrapolo under center, though they aren’t leaping the Rams. Denver could impress if Keenum looks as good as he did last year. He and Allen Robinson could be a big time duo. Kevin White is a bust. The Bears added two FA (Robinson, Gabriel) and a 2nd round WR in Miller this offseason.. Not a good sign for White. I have zero faith in him at this point. Robinson could be good for them.

I don't really see the 49ers as a surprise. Most people seem to think they'll be good. I guess by my definition of surprise, I'm thinking of a team that sucked last year that not many people are talking about. The Rams were certainly that team last year. No one saw that coming. He's razor thin close to being a bust for them, but he'll have a last shot at making a go of it. I don't think he'll be back with the Bears in 2019 either way though. Like you said they've invested too much into other guys at this point. Maybe JRob could trade them a ham sandwich for him like he did with the Eagles and Murray. He could be worth a flier. scine09
The thing with the Patriots is they can pretty much take it easy this year and just get ready for the playoffs. More so than in any other year that I can remember.

Honestly the Pats should have lost to the Jags in the playoffs and they've lost talent since then Their dynasty is about over

The Pats are going to crash and crash hard when it happens. Allowing him to hold the franchise hostage will set them back years.
Justafan
The Browns will be better. I don't think they'll be what anyone would call great but that defense is pretty talented and they got a huge upgrade at QB. They beat the Titans last year with Taylor under center. Their dynasty just about being over has nothing to do with the fact that they play in a terrible division and will win it by multiple games without even trying. The Titans that day though were playing as conservatively as you can play. I don't think that score being close was because of the Browns playing well. It was the Titans playing not to lose all game and being flat after a big Monday night win.
