How would you have preferred I put it?  I felt it was a slap in the face to me and many of the people I served with.  Are you suggesting I have no right to feel the way I do?  I mean, is that really your argument?

Was that a "hypothetical" slap in the face or a real one like police brutality victims feel and deal with? Are you being threatened for reporting that slap in the face?

You are a dumbass

The Iggles and other anti-Americans are the ones mad that the POTUS got the upper hand. The rest of the nation and the POTUS are laughing hard at the Iggles and the anti- Americans.

Actually outside of Fox News world the rest of the country is looking at Trump like a total hypocrite. The only laughing I saw yesterday was him trending for not knowing the words to "God Bless America."

I have a question for you? If one stands to show respect for the flag, country, and those who served + those who gave their lives serving our country... Why did Kaepernick start this off by sitting for the National Anthem??? I see that as a sign of showing disrespect to all the above... Then, the spins started happening... It wasn't until Trump, "unnecessarily" voiced his opinion that this went hyper political...

No, that’s pretty much what I was getting at and I was very clear about it.

You stated that kneeling was "absolutely meant as a slap in the face to authority" that the behavior and words of the protestors (beyond kneeling) is inappropriate ... though you won't state examples ... and you insist that they are at fault for your feelings.

This goes well beyond simply stating that you don't like the chosen method of their protest and approximates the same language of villiany that the POTUS uses.

... language used to race bait and obscure the message as a means of appealing to white nationalists who don't want equal outcomes for minorities.

I don't believe that's correct ( but, I could easily be wrong) … I was under the impression the veteran said he should kneel and not sit like he did to begin with...

Oooh I see lol. Must of glossed over that line in your original post. Oops

aAnyways he probably thought sitting away from it would be a bigger headline than just kneeling with it. But also marshawn has sat for the anthem for years I heard...maybe he was just gonna sit like marshawn and the vet explained it would be better if he kneeled so he listened and agreed.

I don't know what Marshawn sits for --- it's probably to show disrespect for something --- these clowns have platforms they can use without disrespecting half or more then half of the country... Of course, they have the right to protest in any matter they see fit --- peacefully --- and others have a right to protest their doing so... Free Speech … I actually don't know if some people understand the meaning...

Plus, as far as Trump goes as it pertains to this subject, he has done more to give these protestors a voice then they ever would have gotten...

He's also made the subject more divisive to play to his base. But you knew that already ...

I never thought Trump should get involved... Americans are smart enough to make their own decisions on the subject...

That's completely not true.  Logic is different depending on the person's point of view using it.  Aristotle's logic is much different than say Milton or Niche.  I'm not sure what you're trying to get at but if it is that there is only 1 set standard of logic and how it is applied and interpreted by the individual doesn't matter, then I would say you are out of your depth.

No it isn’t. That’s the purpose of logic. To discredit fallacy and paradoxes. Your emotional standpoint holds no bearing.

Your boy Aristotle has law of excluded middle. Stating it’s right or wrong, there is no in between. That discredits the whole “point of view” standpoint when you bring him up.

Logic doesn’t care about your feelings towards the flag or your country.

To a cross eyed person who sees double, 2+2 is still 4 not 44.

What would be a more effective opportunity for players to protest?

Gee.  How about during non-working hours?  You know, like what everyone else on planet Earth has to do.

Not convinced by what I just said?  Fine.  Go into work tomorrow and stage a protest during work hours and watch what happens.   Let us know how it goes.
