Strait_Shooter
We need another stud WR even if Britt plays 16 games every year. Teams like the Packers and Saints have 4 guys better than Washington and Williams. With all due respect, they also have Arron Rogers and Drew Brees throwing to them. Not exactly a fair comparison I'd like to see what Curtis can do in this offense once he gets healthy too.

NashvilleNinja
Good to hear. Now lets look forward to the posts that say once he gets back, WR won't be a need, because surely he will not get hurt again. DRAFT A WR and do not trust Brittle. We need to sign someone in free agency before drafting someone. It typically takes receivers at least a couple years before they really catch on, unless they're a top-tier talent. But those are typically drafted in the top 5-10, and even those that drop rarely drop out of the top 15.

The Saint's kept rolling just fine even when Colston went down. Our receivers looked much better when Locker was hitting his stride. You wan't a better passing offense? You better hope JL lives up to what we all hope he can be.

When Locker played the Titans WRs flourished.

The QB doesn't make the WR. It's a symbiotic relationship

The 1994 Oilers....Moon left. Carlson got hurt week 1. Offense went from good to awful with Billy Joe Tolliver and Bucky Richardson.... But inherent in the discussion is an underlying understanding that you have to put NFL level talent out there. You can have a great offense with good WR's. You don't need All Pro's but you can't throw out a bunch Joe's either.

There's no point in using logic with this moron and trying to explain why most of what he is bumping is making him look like a fool ...Along with completely ignoring any factor the offensive line has, which was one of the reasons Tannehill was mediocre at best in Miami while excelling when he came here. Mythos27
Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs is probably the clearest example of a symbiotic relationship we've seen in a while Allen was already starting to emerge when Diggs arrived but he took off on a rocket ship once he got Diggs. Diggs was already a star before Allen but became a superstar after arriving in Buffalo. They made each other. It's a team game y'all.
Justafan
This is an incredibly old argument taken out of context to make a point not really related to the overall point being made elsewhere on the board. 3/10 effort. I will say, QB is BY FAR the most important position on the field for the offense. It is 1,2 and 3 in terms of priority and without a good one you have no chance of consistently contending. That is a different argument than WRs don't matter and a good QB can make any WR look good so you might as well go cheap and just focus all resources on getting a QB or your offense is going to suck. oldschool
Going back to 2012 is a bit much. I'll say I used to think QBs made WRs back then as well. My stance has shifted over the last decade. You need guys who can win at the NFL level so that QBs can can do what they do and gets the ball into the hands of offensive playmakers. Back to the whole there is a baseline that is required.
