He and his teammates physically went to the affected areas and directly helped those people. To suggest he didn't do enough (or anything) from the comfort of one's own home is nuts.

Seriously, don't they do community stuff during the week?

I hope all the money goes to the victims.  Haynesworth said his baby mamma raised money for Alzheimers (think Pat Summit), but pocketed all the money for herself.  I think people gave to Watt's fund because they knew he was rich and wouldn't  steal the money i.e. pocket the money for "overheaad".

I would be astonished if the organization he went through didn't charge a massive overhead for organizing everything. And if he didn't go through an organization that is built specifically for and plans for emergencies like this, I can guarantee that money was wasted since he personally wouldn't know how to properly allocate it.

It's funny how this isn't moved to the "other topics" forum.

So raising money for relief has to do with football just because a player is the one who started it? But the POTUS actually commenting ON the NFL isn't.

I guess some from extreme left help run this site. If they don't like it they put it out of sight. Even if it's relevant. I remember the Superbowl winners visiting the white house when Obama was in their and it was a topic in the NFL forum with no issue.

This same topic was just on this board not too long ago for weeks.

This is what this country is coming to, give the crybabies want they want. The left has turned into what they stand against. Bigots. Everything Trump, they bully or dismiss. And those who are neutral give in to the crybabies that represent the left.

Whole country is going soft. Everyone got something to cry about. Millionaire athletes crying about their schedule being to long or tough. Don't remember grown men crying about it when they made $500 a game. And now we cry about a topic on a message board. Lol.

And yes, I acknowledge I'm crying about crybabies for those who think they are cute and smarter than everyone else. Ironic, huh?

You wanted an example of you crying on this board? I rest my case.

They actually played 12 games a years and 2 playoff games tops back then and some of the teams really did suck.

If I had to guess, the other topic was moved because it was creating/could create a political debate.  It's pretty simple to figure out.  I for one appreciate the board and the football content.

There if NO FEE to use TR.  There are constant upgrades and improvements.  Someone is doing that for us and I'm thankful.  I have been with this bunch since the site was black and white, text only.  You hit the link, used the can, started the coffee maker and came back to wait for the page to load.  I'm not lining up now to run down the people in charge.
