Osweiler traded to Cleveland

So they've made cap room for Romo. How much is it going to cost them in picks to get him though?

Giving the 2nd to the Browns is by Proxy a pick spent on being able to get Romo plus whatever they have to give to Dallas.

And Bongo is dead wrong btw... this signals Cleveland definitely is interested in drafting the QB they want this year.. they just added more ammo to move up if they have to.

They don't have to move up to take a QB.

We should have been smart enough to trade Jake.  The Texans made a huge mistake.  They got rid of it.  Casserly is saying Rick Smith should be named MOY right now.  Still, even I did not think OS was going to be that bad.  Maybe the Browns can get something out of him.  Denver was going to pay him.

This is an NBA style trade and has smartball written all over it. The Browns are building their line and gonna draft and develop their skill players. Definitely the most interesting team of the off-season.

Seems dumb, but they got huge cap space. $100mil. They basically just bought draft picks and a QB insurance plan.

I laughed at first, but kinda seems smart...er...provided they can trade him and don't have to start him lol

It's smart as hell. They can dump him in a year and get another 2nd rounder. It's only dumb if they actually believe osweiler can play.
