Eric DeCosta.

I really wanted Chris Ballard from KC, but I think the results so far with Robinson speak for themselves.

The only mistakes have been Austin Johnson and Kevin Dodd. I knew at the time those were bad picks. Blowing two 2nd rounders is hard to stomach.

How were they bad picks? LeBeau is on record saying Dodd is highly advanced in his transition. He is also on record saying he doesn't play rookie defenders for the most part.

WAY too early to call them busts. DL often struggle in their first seasons, and Dodd is dealing with a change of positions and some injury issues. Johnson has actually played well. So I'm not sure what you mean there. But both have only had 8 games as pros. You can hardly call them busts.

If this was the criteria, McNair, Bulluck, Mason, etc would've been busts after the first 8 games. People always say it takes three years to judge a draft but no one wants to ever give it time. I don't know if it'll take 3 years to judge Dodd and Johnson, but I think we should be willing to give it more time. Both have flashed ability at times. I think it's lack of snaps that's hurting them more. Some of the other players (Orakpo, Morgan, Klug, etc) playing so well has cut into their playing time.

My mistake. In my post, I should have included the words "I predict...". I've watched them closely and have seen nothing that indicates high-2nd round talent. They may contribute down the line, but I would think you would expect to see some kind of instant impact out of a NT. How many NTs have started out obscurely, and then became a game-changer later on? Seems like you either have it or you don't.

Regardless, even the great GMs of all time miss picks. I give both AAS and Robinson solid A's for the jobs they've done this year.

LeBeau didn't even start Polamalu as a rookie. Not sure I fully agree with how he handles rookies, but that's just his MO. Ryan Shazier started only 5 games his rookie year. Timmons started 0 games his rookie year. Cameron Heyward started 0 games his rookie year. Give it more time. Let the players develop. Keith Bulluck would've already been a bust at this rate.

You were  wrong AGAIN..

I’m wrong? You are still carrying on about the Conklin pick even though the guy is an all pro and an irreplaceable part of the OL.

And let’s not bring up your love of VY...
