begooode
Is there anything worse than weak bitches being right about something? 1) They are going to crow to everyone ad nauseam about the time they were right about something. 2) They are going to be emboldened to pop off even more going forward. 3) They will recall even fewer of their misses. 4) They are still weak bitches. In fact I expect it. Matthews & Sharpe are Robinson's guys. Hunter & Wright will likely be gone, so someone is going to have to replace them. It looks like a very good WR draft next year. Lot of big, fast WR. Smith-Schuster looks a lot like Dez to me. Williams from Clemson looks like another very good WR prospect and Clemson has produced some damn good ones the past few years (Hopkins, Watkins). We're a long ways away from that though. After those two, all we have is McBride and Douglas under contract for next year. Sure, but if Matthews and Sharpe both look like good starters then the need for a top WR goes down. Especially if McBride shows he can be a good 3rd WR. But we are a long way off from knowing where we stand going into the next offseason. No reason to worry about that yet... Titans279
No one on the roster is a clear WR1. That's going to be a need even if you have a solid WR group.

It's annoying thinking about spending another high pick on a WR considering we've done that and how little we've gotten in return but I agree. And next year could be a really good year to try to get one. It's tempting. We've hit on Mariota. Looks like Henry has the talent to be a hit. We could have our own triplets to build around for years if we hit on a #1 WR next season with Sharpe as a quality 2 on the other side. And Webster won't be making the pick. DGB got force-fed last season because the wide receiver corps was a M*A*S*H unit, and his tape is full of drops (that hit him in the hands) and lack of awareness. Go make an Egg McMuffin dumbass. socaljake
It really is impressive how well Mariota played as a rookie with no OL, no RB, and no WR last season. Only a TE.

kyle021
This thread isn't about banging my chest. It's a serious question. We have never done something like this before. We have never jettisoned a player this fast after drafting. I think it's a tie between him and Kent. I'm not beating my chest. Just asking legit question. Idk who is worse VY or DGB

I assure you that DGB is a better player than Nunley.

Dgb was one of the best rookie Wrs last year, and for some reason didn't get a fair shake this year. dgb isn't the bust here These parts are actually spot on. DGB put up respectable production for a rookie WR, especially for a rookie in a horrible scoring offense. There were 8 WR's drafted before DGB and he out produced 7 of them. The only guy he didn't out produce his rookie year was Amari Cooper. DGB was not a bust for the Titans. The Titans gave up on DGB before giving him an adequate opportunity to prove himself at a position where it historically takes a player 2-3 seasons to evaluate. 1 hour ago, 52O said: Dgb will ball out in philly I doubt it. Philly is a horrible situation for him. New OC, rookie QB, and they are already solid at WR. He is coming in way behind in terms of learning the offense. He will likely get buried at the bottom of the depth chart. But if he does pan out in Philly, that would be a serious indictment of the Titans front office and coaching staff. CaliTitan3518
DGB is not a bust. All you can consider him is a wasted pick. He produced and I'd be shocked if he didn't produce in philly. Jordan Matthews and rueben Randle are average WRs so he isn't competing with anyone special.
