flaming_thumbtack Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 The Ravens had to cut a member of the secondary for cap and they chose Will Hill for some odd reason. Hill seems to have put his off-the-field troubles behind him and has performed as one of the best safeties in the game at time during the past two years. The Titans desperately need a FS and though Hill is a SS, he has the necessary coverage skills to play FS. Hill is a good talent and could immediately help us have an improved secondary. This could also give us more versatility in the draft. We could still draft Ramsey and then rotate him, Hill, and Searcy depending on what we needed at any given time. That should tell u something Everyone was hurt besides Hill. The corners couldn't cover a statue. In 2014, when everyone was healthy, Hill graded out as the best safety in the league in terms of pass coverage. When is the last time when time we had someone who was the best at something (I'm not counting Mett's records for losses without a win as being best at something). Face Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 Something's wrong here, there's no way in hell this guy should've been cut. Are we going to hear about some kind of "incident" tomorrow? If not, this is a guy we should be on the phone with but I've given up trying to figure out teams, I fully expect us to show zero interest in him. Disappointing, I thought he was going to be worst case solid and he's not even that. Even though he's been a bust, sometimes for whatever reason, it doesn't work on one team but works out better out on another. I'd take a look on him too. Shouldn't cost much. Eric Weddle he was supposed to play the other safety. there was a whole bunch of articles last week talking about how these two now make one of the best and possibly most versatile safety groups in the league.. two days later, Hill is cut.
