TitanJoe
I'd love it if Vasquez and Quinton Spain sent Warmack's ass to the bench permanently.
CaliTitan3518
This would be a great signing. Another instant upgrade.
big2033
Someone was saying earlier in the thread that he played tackle (but not particularly well). What are the chances we are bringing him in to play tackle? Is it completely off the table or is there a chance?
enigma
Here's an article I found where he speaks to his versatility/preference as a member of Denver's o-line... http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/story.cfm/story/1669297
Stranger
If we do sign him, what are the odds that Robinson holds off on commenting what position he will play to keep the guessing game going in regard to the 1st pick?

We have an unsettled spot at G where Vazquez has played well in the past. It just seems logical to bring in someone who can play OT and have Vazquez start at G. The FA OT seem to hinge on Seattle signing someone. Penn, Beachum, and Okung are all connected. If they wanted to, I suspect TEN could sign Beachum or Okung to a one year deal with heavy incentives or at worst an Orakpo style contract. The OT market really seems to be lowering in price with each passing day.

I think if you sign him, you sign him as a G. If we could get one of those guys on a 1-2 yr deal, I'd be down for that. They could still draft an OT round 2, but not have to rush him in. Or even take a guy later than that. Gives you more flexibility.
kyle021
Do you ever just take a shit. Prepare to wipe and then boom. You have another little turd that follows? So you have to wait in case you have another that might want to pop out. Then you sit there. Smoke a cig. Browse TR and shit for about 30 minutes? i can't get off this damn thing and that's how much I care about signing this dude.

This is where reading on the toilet comes in handy. I can usually tell beforehand if I'm going to spend a while in there.

Tampa took two starting OL in the 2nd round last year so im sure JRob has some targets in rounds 2-4.

On the surface, 3 OL in FA might seem excessive but we have the cap space. Lewan is a ways away from being a FA. Warmack is not looking like a resign. And as stated earlier, you might be able to get Okung, Penn, or Beachum on a short term deal. You might even be able to get Vasquez on a short team deal. I haven't seen him linked to any other team. Then they can draft a guy rounds 2-4 behind one of them. Maybe it's a developmental RT. Maybe it's even a guy who can replace Warmack if you want to try him out at G. How does this address the right tackle position? I thought I read one of the other teams was talking to Okung about playing RT. The Giants are talking to Okung and they have a LT they spent a top 10 pick on last year so I'm guessing it's them. So maybe Okung can play there

It's SF, who has Staley at LT. Even Beachum has been visiting with teams who have a clear LT (JAX).
