oldschool
Griffin is that bad. I warned everyone that the Shanny's were running the Baylor offense in year 1 to help transition Griffin and everyone overreacted to it. He's been terrible when asked to play the position like you have to in the NFL.
oldschool
ESPN reporting Cousins will start week 1. This entire town is stunned.

Running another type leads to crap. Why hire idiots jamming round pegs into square holes? Isn't the goal of a coach to win? ...and not simply to run a particular style of system and maybe win as a side effect?

Bulluck4dmvp
Pretty sure the Redskins have now taken the most dysfunctional team trophy from the Browns or Raiders.

The son of two military sergeants I thought he was a combination of brains, hard work and athleticism. But part of his downfall has been his attitude. CreepingDeath
because it was fools gold. Perhaps in this case. But this isn't the only situation where a coach chose to lose his way rather than win using other methods.

titansfb
How legit is this guy? Zac Boyer @ZacBoyer 30m30 minutes agoArlington, VA Two people familiar with these matters insist no decision has been made on Cousins earning Week 1 start. Griffin is still the plan. Titans279
I think RG3 could still be doing pretty well if he didn't stubbornly insist on becoming a pocket QB so quickly. He did not want to be associated with "running quarterbacks." http://deadspin.com/mike-shanahan-rgiii-told-me-which-plays-were-unaccept-1686611287 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000493978/article/mike-shanahan-injuries-arent-behind-rgiiis-struggles

CreepingDeath
this isn't college Right. Nor is it HS or peewee or whatever. But some players can drastically improve a team if they play to their strengths rather than how a coach wants a generic player to perform. If you don't have time to reply with a thoughtful answer, I'd prefer you to skip this until you do.
