scine09
scine, I can't make you hear of read anything about the MLS. I hear it all the time when I do not want to. It is there and you don't want to see it. It is there and I don't want to hear it. Where? Certainly not on the major networks.

reo
You're a smart guy. You know exactly why topics are discussed on radio and on TV. Until soccer becomes something that is discussed on radio and on TV like the other sports are (heck even tennis gets more air time than soccer) then there isn't a poll or a statistic in the world that will mean squat. You'll know when people care when the ESPN's and CBSSports's of the world start talking about it. This is bizarre. It's almost like you're using some obscure metric to hypothesize what the data could be showing... when Prag and Jamal are actually posting the data. It's like you take your car to the mechanic b/c you're hearing a rattling and you start spouting off all these things that could be the cause. Then the mechanic gets under it and finds that you've got a bad U-joint. But you disagree! B/c it could be this, this and this. Then he takes it apart and shows you specifically what's wrong and you still disagree b/c you think it could be something else when they're showing you exactly what it is. Jamalisms
As someone said awhile ago, it's the no true Scotsman fallacy. That doesn't mean soccer is taking over, btw. Far from it.

Bobo
American boys should be forced to stop playing soccer at a certain age. Wait, what am I talking about? They abandon it anyway once their balls drop.

scine09
espn main page You must have some setting because mine does not list soccer. It lists MLB, NFL, NCAAM, NBA, NCAAF and NHL in that order.
