I really struggle to understand the mentality of fans around draft time. The Titans are picking in the Top 5 with a Top 5 talent available and fans have been wanting a real difference maker for a long time. More picks isn't necessarily more value. It's like kids saving up money to buy something significant. "After mowing lawns and doing chores all summer I can finally get that Playstation! But wait, I could get like... a million jellybeans instead! A million!!! That is SO MANY JELLYBEANS!"

Ridiculous comparison. It's more like the kid saving up for a super high end gaming laptop, with top of the line specs, but instead gets a mid-tier laptop, an iPhone, and those awesome new shoes he's been hyped up for. There's a trade off either way. Who knows when he's going to get another shot at one of those gaming rigs considering how expensive they are? But then again, he does have a piece of crap cell phone and those shoes are pretty damn slick. And while that mid-tier laptop may not be able to do the awesome things the gaming rig can, it's still extremely useful for a lot of other things.

Fodder for discussion.

Shit son, I rocked some pumps, Jordan's, Shawn Kemps, LJs, and a rad-ass pair of Velcro "Roos" when I was in 2nd grade (That I got ridiculed mercilessly for). Apparently my mom wanted to dress me as a special needs kid or a suburbanite gangsta in my developmental years. Nothing screams Ballin' (and fair weather asshole) like a 10 year old in a Shaquille O'Neal jersey and Charlotte Hornets starter jacket. God, my first half dozen year books would make for some great blackmail.

My first pair of sneakers I actually bought myself was in high school and they were cheap but fly as hell

The Starbury shoes were fucking cheap ($10!) but looked dope as fugg and could get them at Steve and Berry's(don't worry they're already bankrupt and non-existent anymore) they weren't too bad for a shoe probably made by the fingers of taiwan children who hadn't eaten in months.

Gee, if only we had another thread discussing whether to take Williams or trade down and take some other player.

Ask yourself what the constant here is!

Take the best player available (Williams) and don't feel bad about it because you know your going to get a kid who is big and fast and competitive and will make your team better.

I agree, with them being a tie. Even with my homerism,I want to take Williams. Just saying if they don't take Williams,I would take Cooper. We need a number 1 wr bad.

if this team considers drafting a WR early he better he better be at least 6,6" -300 lbs and can play RT.

If the draft were today (we may learn a lot by April 30th), then Williams is such an obvious pick for us, I would be freaking out with worry that we screw it up.

The question to ask is what if the Bucs pick Williams. And we have no suitors to trade down. Winston?
