Jets Move on from CJ, Decline Option

CJ's case of mailing it in after the big payday is equally drastic as Albert Haynesworth's was. Maybe even worse. I have no respect for that.

It's not even close, Fat Albert was the best defender in the NFL when the Skins signed him. He could have been the type of player that JJ Watt is today.

Think he doesn't officially become a FA until March 10, right?

Just from the way his contract is structured, according to rotoworld. This could be erroneous though.

Right. Not officially, official until then.

Many consider Sapp to be one of the best DT to play football, I would consider Fat Al to be 10x te player that he is when on his game. He was barely practice squad material afterwards... Biggest waste of talent I have ever seen in the NFL. Honestly could have unanimously gone down as the best DT to play if he had the motivation Watt does. CJ was never in that stratosphere and was still putting up lackluster numbers after his contracts, not being as useless as AH (still bad though)

Geek I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Obviously he's not near what he was but he still ran for 3300 or so yards in the 3 years for us post contract. Without missing a game. As a 195 LB running back. The guy just wasnt the same after all those carries.

AH was totally toxic after his deal, he was a clubhouse politician & there was talk that he was flat out trying to get cut.

If you want to say CJ stunk, fine, but to compare him to AH in Washington is completely unfair.

When I think about AH in washington I just remember that play where the opposing QB was scrambling around and Haynesworth was just laying on the ground like a fat POS waiting for the play to end. He didn't even try to pick his fat ass up. It was disgusting.

CJ is awesome and Andrew Luck is terrible.

We need to trace this guy's IP and make sure he's not Ruston Webster.

I said CJ wasn't the scumbag AH was, that's it. I don't know how you got that I think he's "awesome" out of that but you did. What a hack.

Chris Johnson is still plenty fast.  I think it was pretty obvious that he wanted that big contract and once he got it, his heart just wasn't in it like before.

That's pretty shitty but what AH did was more akin to theft IMO.
