We have 4 more spots than your typical standard league. I know. I'm not really upset about it. If there was a way to add slots for suspended players similar to IR, then I really think we should do it. If the website does not have that option, oh well. abenjami Posted September 17, 2014 Report Share Posted September 17, 2014 Can someone explain the waivers/free agent process to me? I thought all players go on waivers until Tuesday night. If you want a player on waivers then you have to pay for them using your auction budget. But then after waivers run, everyone is a free agent and those pickups are free. I'm looking at the transactions from yesterday. It appears waivers ran at 3:15 am as some of the pickups at that time were charged auction dollars. But how was Wisco able to pickup Niles Paul 45 minutes earlier for free? How did CMJ pick up James Jones for free and Cyrus picks up Dallas for free at 3:15 am? wiscotitansfan Posted September 17, 2014 Report Share Posted September 17, 2014 I picked him up because waivers go through at whatever time (changes each week) but at around midnight - 2 am the waivers are processed. Nobody put a claim on Paul I assume because he was a FA when I got him. The system knows who is waived each week but it hasn't assigned them to their rosters yet, I just happened to be online in that 2 or 3 hour span in limbo.
